I packed this with my gear to travel in Europe for 8 months. This has become my go to hoodie/travel shirt that i reach for first in all temperatures. It is so versatile. It works great as a sun hoodie that is not too thick in summer weather when I'm out hiking or site seeing all day and don't want to slather sun screen everywhere. But I am now in Ireland in October and it is a great layering piece for runs or hikes in the colder drizzly weather. What also makes this a great shirt for travel is that it washes easy and holds up well. It doesn't seem to trap sweat and odors the way other synthetic activewear shirts do. It behaves more like wool by resisting odor. I don't know if this comes from the bamboo but I seem to get more wear time out of this hoodie before I have to wash it. When I do have to wash it, I don't have to wait to book a room with a washing machine. I can easily use soap and hot water in a sink, scrub it a bit, then drain and do a couple of hot water rinses and wring it out. It does not hold water like cotton and dries quicker like a proper activewear shirt. The fabric has a nice feel and still looks like it's in great condition after months of repeated wearing and washing. If I had known this would be such a fantastic shirt to travel with I would have purchased 3 not one. I will definitely get more when I return to the US.

I bought this shirt in several colors for a hiking trip. It was great for layering clothing to be warm in the mornings then stay cool in the afternoon. They wash well but DO MOT dry them in the dryer. Lay them flat or over something to air dry. If it looks a little wrinkly after washing or after it’s been in your suitcase just hang it up for a little while and the wrinkles will fall out.

The viscose blend fabric in this hoodie is soft, fairly light, and smooth on skin, when dry. When wet, it becomes a bit heavier and stiffer, as it absorbs a lot of moisture. For sun-blocking effects, this shirt is fantastic, especially due to the long sleeves with thumb holes. I've worn this on a hot summer afternoon in the sun for at least three hours, and it has protected my skin from sun rash and kept me cooler by a few degrees. I would not call this "quick-drying" as the listing states. Example: I washed it in the evening around 4 pm and hung to dry indoors. The next morning at 8 a.m., the hood and neck were still damp, while other hanging garments were dry. I also wore it while sweating outdoors, and it remained wet after being inside with air conditioning and ceasing to sweat for severla hours. I took a star off because of the discomfort I feel in damp clothing, and I can't help being sweaty in warm weather.

I bought this hooded sun shirt to wear while cleaning horse pastures, and it’s worked out really well. I usually wear it under a pair of overalls, and it keeps the sun off the back of my neck and my arms without making me feel overheated. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, so even when I’m working outside for a while, it stays comfortable. The hood provides extra coverage when I need it, and I appreciate having that added protection instead of constantly worrying about sunscreen on the back of my neck. The shirt fits well, allows for plenty of movement, and has been comfortable to wear while doing physical work. If you’re spending time outdoors gardening, doing chores, hiking, or working around animals, this is a nice layer to help protect your skin while still keeping you cool. It has become one of those pieces I find myself reaching for anytime I know I’ll be outside for more than a few minutes.

Feel good fabric but because of cotton in it, very very long to dry and very smelly as well when used for backpacking. Might be okay for small day hike.

It’s nice enough, but I like some of my other shirts better, that are like it. There is a little snug.

I wear this all winter to pickleball. It's ultra soft, washes easily and fits well.

I just purchased this for a replacement for some Freefly UPF hoodies. The cost is significantly more reasonable and the quality of the bamboo blend is amazing. I love the color options as well- very muted. I ordered a Medium (5’7’’, 139 lbs) and I could probably wear a small, but I like the fit to be a bit looser and I need the width in the shoulders. The fabric definitely has give, so I wouldn’t let a more fitted size deter you.

Aus dem ultraleichten Hoodie aus Bambus Viskosemischung würde plötzlich ein 100%Polyester Labber-Hoodie. Ob er sonnenschutztauglich ist bezweifel ich schwer. Ging sofort zurück.

Not bamboo viscose at all but 100% polyester which I dont wear. I would like to give ZERO stars for dishonesty.
