Smells nice. My hair felt soft after using this.

This is a shampoo from OXG in their Weightless Hydration range, which includes a matching conditioner. It comes in the classic OXG rounded bottle with flip lid, and you get 385ml, so it’s a decent size product. This is classed as a lightweight shampoo designed especially for for those with thinner, finer, dryer hair. While anyone can of course use and benefit from it, it’s formulated with ingredients specifically to help hydrate hair without weighing it down. OGX is a popular brand but I’ve used one of their shampoos before, so I was keen to try this. My hair is pretty dry and has thinned a lot due to illness in the last few years. This shampoo contains argan oil and Vit B5 to help nurture hair in a more healthy, natural way. The brand claims their product can lead to 5x stronger hair after just two washes compared to other shampoos. The cleaning agents in this are also sulphate free, which is good to know as sulphate can apparently strip hair of moisture and dull the colour. This is a pretty much clear translucent shampoo and I only catch a vague scent from it, so it’s pleasant enough to use with nothing off-putting about it. It lathers pretty nicely with a little water and I’m making a concerted effort when washing my hair to properly massage my scalp now, so this worked well. It also washed out fine without any problems and didn’t seem to leave any residue. I felt like my hair was a little squeaky clean when getting out of the shower and towel drying my hair gently. It certainly felt cleansed and refreshed. I’m not sure it made a huge difference to be quite honest to the dryness of my hair, at least not in the first use. It could have made a little difference perhaps, but I’m happy to still use a conditioner with this and/or a spray conditioning product to help with that. The main thing for me is that it cleaned my hair well and did as promised by not weighing it down. My hair is pretty lacklustre now so this is quite important, and as a result my hair has a bit more life to it after using. All in all, a very pleasant shampoo to use but I didn’t find it overly special for me personally. I really like it, but the softening and moisturising element didn’t seem quite enough for my hair. Perhaps there’ll be better benefit with regular use and I'd prefer a more powerful lush smell, but I’m happy to continue using this one anyway. Everyone’s hair is different though so others may find it’s magical for their tresses. You get plenty in the bottle to keep you going for a while, it lathers well, and leaves hair feeling very clean without being weighed down, so I think it's a good option worth trying.

Does exactly what it says on bottle & more.Having been a little under the weather lately my hair had become dull and lifeless my usual shampoo did not help much.After 1 wash my hair is back to its bouncy, shiny self with no residue. Great value for money as only small amount is needed & so easy to use in the shower.my new go to shampoo

My hair is so much better using these products. Soft but still manageable. Feels lighter & in great condition. Don’t have to wash as often as there doesn’t seem to be the build up that I usually get.
