100% recommend this over manual pumps
My first rodeo with an electrical pump / cleaner and YES - oh my DAYS you should get one! Water out of the fish tank is SO easy! Different attachments doing different things! Stone / gravel cleaner worked well and didn't get clogged up too much, Don't use the gravel cleaner to empty water out, it wont work! The little net bag attachment on the top is really good for ensuring all the "gunk" is captured - and rinses off really easily for round 2. The unit and handles do feel nice and strong and the little jubilee clips for clipping on the plastic hose are a really welcomed addition. The arm can be adjusted to how long you want, I put them all on because... Why not! I could have gotten away with 1 less! The noise of the pump is surprisingly quiet compared to what i thought it could have been. This has made a 30 minute job into a 10 minute job! Plus filling the tank back up afterwards is soooooooooo much easier now - just put the unit in the clean water and turn it on, and the water goes up into the tank! no more lifting 10kg buckets up and worrying about dropping it!

Gravel cleaner for fish tanks
Easy to use gravel cleanel for fish tank. Great value for money to get the job done. Fantastic qualities of this item sturdy and does job well. It performance is spot on and makes a big job as easy as cake. Has a good amount of power to get down in there and suck up all the Nasty waste. We have baby piranha and it is ideal for our big tank. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Gravel cleaner
Looked at a few gravel cleaners and decided on this one due to variety of attachments. I found it to be excellent for my tank. Possibly the motor is a little bulky but the suction was superb, especially as you a variable flow for more delicate areas. The length between the switch and plug could a little longer but other than that I am thoroughly satisfied with this.

Saves so much time.
This tank vacuum is brilliant. I am a returner to fish keeping. In the past it was a case of using a jug to empty the tank. This gadget is a game changer. Help to remove water at water changing time, and also helps to pump fresh water back. Would recommend tis.

Sucked up sand instead of cleaned it. Sent water all over new carpet. Being returned
Sucked all the sand up instead of cleaned it so clogged up and sent half the tank water onto my NEW carpet, which is now drying out ๐ก It says suitable for any size but definitely too powerful for a small tank, I'm just lucky it didn't suck up any of my shrimp ๐ก It's being returned.

Practise makes perfect!
Took a while putting it together and checking which bits go with which for the different types of cleaning that can be done. There is a small guide that explains what each implement does. But, nothing else. I had to check online to see the setup. Good for water changes. Very quick. Do not take your eyes off what you are doing when taking water out. I did briefly and the water filled the bucket and went everywhere. Stop taking water out when your bucket is 3/4 or less full and switch off the cleaner whilst it is still in the bucket. This is because the water suction stops and any water that is in the tubes/cleaner will flow back into the bucket (or wherever you leave the inlet/outlet tube, which is a fair bit). Tarpaulin or plastic might be useful here (I'm not kidding). But, maybe it is just me! You can adjust the suction pressure and it can be quite strong. So, do ensure the clips are added to the hose at the motor end, as it will come off. The hose is flimsy. I had to also attach it to my bucket with the clip from my previous manual cleaner. Otherwise the hose was flopping around and coming out of the bucket. That all said I feel that I am now ready and prepared to use it the next time. I used 3 of the attachments easily. But, after my flood I did not want to change the tubes to different sizes which would have aided cleaning the walls of my aquarium (120l), etc. My design has a glass platform surround at the top . So, angling long tubes to get to the right place was difficult. I ended up doing this manually instead. Cleaned the gravel in the tank quite well. I will continue to practise.
