Can I cut it to a smaller pieces?

Yes, you can cut the fibreglass sheets into whatever size you like . Its what I did, then layered them up with plenty of the resin as I went. Worked really well !

Will it be ok in in a bottom off a hot tub

Depends on what tub is made from. GRP or ABS

Yes, that is exactly what I used it for. I managed to punch a hole in my rear skirt. I used this product to strengthen the rear of the skirt and filled the remaining depression with car body filler. Just to be on the safe side, in view of the hole, I applied three layers of glass fibre mat. It made an excellent repair.

Is it suitable to apply to wood

I used the kit to repair a split in a 5000 ltr plastic tank and added a piece of plywood as reinforcement. The resin adhered to the plywood very well and overall made the repair to the tank successful.
