These runners were very good quality and worked perfectly to replace worn out runner system on two-2 drawer oak night stands. Runners came longer than needed and were a little wider than original system, so be prepared to possibly do some cutting and customizing if not an exact replacement. Shouldn't be a problem for those with some basic hand tools and basic working knowledge of carpentry. These were much better quality than one would find in hardware or big box stores. Would definitely order again.

I purchased these to replace the slides on a vintage dresser that had the metal slide. First of all, there isn’t a standard size drawer. Your new slides are going to be too short or too long. If they are too short you can make them work. If they are too long you can cut them to the correct length. The holes are not going to match your dresser either. Don’t try to use your old holes as a reference, your old slides are much looser tolerances and the new slides are closer tolerances. Measure and center your new slides, dry fit and try before gluing anything. If you’re over 1/8 “ off, the drawer won’t close evenly. Take your time.

Had an tall boy dresser from the Bombay Company that lost the lip of the drawer slide. This set ended up being a drop-in replacement except the drawer piece was 1" too long (easily altered) and the inner tongue was useable as is. Slides easily after replacement. Would recommend and buy again.

I can give these 5 stars for good movement but that is all. The predrilled holes (and no screws provides) do not support a screw thickness sturdy enough to withstand everyday use for a drawer and if you use anything bigger than a 1/16 screw, you will split the wood. Don’t even try to drill a new hole.

The design and quality of the wood is solid. I just needed to drill 2 pilot holes for the 2 screws to attach to the base of the drawer opening. I used Gorilla glue and 2 more screws to attach the second piece to the bottom of the drawer. I appreciated the metal plate to reinforce all in place. I read prior reviews and used the recommendation to wax both pieces to help them slide easily. Works perfectly and hopefully this dresser will last another 40 years!

They are awesome the bottom is a little larger than my dresser line but it can be fixed.

Do you have aging furniture like us? The bottom drawer of both of our chest of drawers lost their "slide" function the same week. I bought these and installed them in a few minutes and they are sliding and gliding like new. I'm considering changing out the other drawers before they break because it was so seemless!
