Works as expected
I needed this for working around Ubiquiti's incompetence. Turns out that their UDM Pro, despite having "pro" in its name, sometimes it behaves like a toy networking wise as the developers haven't really finished writing the firmware and the tech support is too simple to understand a detailed bug report, including how to reproduce a bug. The problem with two internet connections with one media converter and one modem is that it needs two RJ45 cables that need plugging into one router. But, Ubiquiti in their infinite wisdom, implemented only one RJ45 WAN and two SFP+ ports that may serve as WAN/LAN. So, lacking enough inputs, I've configured one of the ports in the switch as WAN2 (port 8. A feature that's supported, yet broken in unfunny ways, so much so that I suspected that my main ISP is doing something dodgy until I saw the same behaviour for my backup connection. Cue this adapter to enable WAN2 on port 10 or 11 on UDM Pro. Problem worked around. TL:DR it does what it says on the tin. Runs at the expected gigabit. Runs a bit hot, but so far it has not caused any trouble. It actually comes in a metal storage case which is quite a nice touch. Works with SFP or SFP+ ports.

Works with no issues.
Use this in my ubiquiti switch. Absolutely fine, no issues no packet drops no overheating. All seems well for the price of it.

Easy to use and just works
Great for your switch if you want to ensure the internet speed is balanced correctly without much throttle. Made a difference to my connection which is a lot more stable now! Works with Cisco Merkai totally fine. No issues.

Excellent use for spare SFP slots
As there are several items being sold under this product code, this review is for '1000Base-T SFP Copper Transceiver'. This is a good way of making use of unused SFP slots on switches/routers where you don't need fibre modules. I've used these on Ubiquiti EdgeRouters which have a load of PoE copper ports for wireless kit with a fibre (SFP) backhaul. This allows one to use those SFP slots for standard copper connections where cable runs are so short fibre would be an unnecessary overkill. In use, the item performs well, but it does get warm to the touch, so it's worth keeping an eye on the temperature especially if you're not using it in a temperature controlled environment like a datacentre.

Works with UniFi but only 1gb
Works with my UniFi US-8-150, just slotted in and powered up and appears in the GUI. I did initially try to connect a slower 100mbps IoT device and could not work out why it did not work then realised I got the slightly cheaper 1gb not the 1000/100/10 version but that’s not a problem. Pleased I not have extra ports.

SFPs that just work.
Installed two of these in my Edge switch. They worked instantly. 1gbps detected speeds as expected. Moving to the SFP connections on my switch then freed up a further 3 gig ports. Can’t complain.

事業所内で下記構成のネットワークを組んでいます。 ONU → RTX830 → SWX2300-16G → サーバー・PC（複数）・複合機 etc 運用開始から、時間が経過するに従い ネットワーク上の機材が増えていき、LANポートに空きがなくなりました。 他のL2スイッチを追加して、L2の2台体制にする選択肢もありますが スイッチを追加すると、費用を多く要するので、より安価な対応策が無いかと検討しました。 SPFポートが2個空いて居る事に着目し、これを活用できないか？ と思い、ダメ元で、本品（10/100/1000Base-T カッパー SFPモジュール）を購入しました。 SWX2300-16Gの ポート17・18が SFPです。 ここに本品を装着し、LANケーブルを繋いだところ、無事正常動作しております。 特にコンフィグを、いじるでもなく、単なるポン差しで 1～16番ポートにLANケーブル繋いだのと同様に動作しています。 まだ、運用開始から数時間なので、耐久性は様子見です。 壊れたらRTX830の空きポートに直差しで、急場をしのげる事から 負荷が一番高いRTX830との接続に本品のポート（SFP port 18番・17番は空き）を使いました。 但し、それなりの発熱があります。（SWX2300やRTX830よりも、少し温かい感じ、40℃位？） 真冬の1月なので、この程度なのかも知れませんが 業務ネットワーク用途に耐えうる品物であることを願っております。 取り急ぎ、SWX2300で『動くよ』って人柱の ご報告です。
