UK Light Switch Guard - Magnetic Cover - Protector - Smart Lights - Smart Home

I recently installed smart lights around the house and I have a habit of turning the lights off manually by accident every time. This is why I bought a cover for my light switches at home.This is the best solution to my problem because the magnets are very strong and it covers the entire light switch on the wall. It’s also very easy to install and doesn’t require any tools to do so.I’m very happy with this investment and I highly recommend this if you want something affordable to cover your light switches at home!

First thing to say - this won't stop someone flipping a switch of they want to (e.g. our kids) but it will stop someone casually/accidentally doing so, which is frankly good enough for our needs now they've learned to leave the covered switches alone. Adult guests will just figure it out and move on with their lives.Second thing to say - it's nice that they're immediately removeable if you want access, much better than having to unscrew a blanking plate, or pull one of those self-adhesive switch covers off.Third thing to say - check your screws are magnetic - and if they are not - check how long they are/need to be. Some magnetic screws are provided in the packaging but they weren't long enough to fix the face plate to our back boxes and I had to buy some new magnetic screws of 40mm length to do the job.Overall, decent for the right application.

Really excellent gadget to easily cover switches to stop people switching off lights controlled by alexa. Used to replace 1 where grandkids had pulled off stick on one.Dropped 1 star because not cheap and it'd cost me a fortune to replace all needed.

This worked exactly as described.Whilst on holiday, we had house sitters for part of the time we were away but they turned the existing outside double light switch and hall lights off which control a number of smart bulbs. These were set to operate by a schedule and motion detection off my ring doorbell. This meant that the lights weren't going on and off like they should after they left and during the rest of our time away. On my return I decided to look for a solution that meant this could not happen easily,After initially considering just swapping the whole switch for a fused panel with no switch, I stubbled across these and they are brilliant. They covered the existing single and double switches exactly as described and although they provide some replacement faceplate screws in case the existing ones are not magnetic enough, they stuck in place to the existing screw heads with the neodymium magnets without any issues, whilst still allowing me to remove the covers easily if I did need to operate the light switch manually.In terms of appearance, they are the neatest solution I have seen and look similar to a modern large switch button - and given they are held on with magnets there is no nasty sticky mess to clean up if you ever want to remove them and go back to the manual switch.All in all - a great product that I would recommend.The unit sat neatly over

Really impressed with its design. Some of the screws in my light switches were not magnetic, so the ones that are supplied are a very thoughtful touch.

Was really looking forward to trying this to prevent my just turned 2yr old daughter playing with the light switches constantly but unfortunately the screws provided aren’t the right size

Amazing! It just snaps on and now stops anyone from turning my smart lights off! So simple but such a great invention. I was getting sick of having smart lights but not being able to control them by mouth or phone as people kept turning the main switch off.

This does what it's supposed to do, and I appreciate the inclusion of replacement screws in the pack in case the ones on your light switch aren't magnetic. My only real complaint is I wish the magnets were a little stronger - they feel just loose enough that they could fall off with even a gentle tap. Stronger magnets may make the whole thing feel a little sturdier.
