Really nice pool cue, very accurate even for beginners. Comes with weight bolts if you want to feel it a little heavier. Original tip is really good for spins and draw shots. It feels good quality.

I've been using maple cues for decades. I didn't even know they made these in carbon fiber. and upon first glance and holding it, I thought it was gimmicky and it felt weird. too light and insubstantial and wouldn't be enough to properly perform a break. wow, was i wrong. from the first first strike, I knew it was special. il dampened the impact while still offering feedback on the quality of the strike. mishits weren't a pain but i knew i had. a dead on strike felt buttery smooth. the balance was great and I had lots of control. and the cute was arrow straight and rolled perfectly. there is some weight adjustability but I found the packaged default to be fine. this is going to be my go to cue from now on.

This cue actually plays reasonably well. I play pool most weeknights and my regular play cue is a Predator with a Revo carbon fiber shaft. I got this one thinking it would make a decent backup cue. I was pleasantly surprised to find it does play nicely. It feels balanced. The shaft is smooth, fast, and nicely tapered. The tip feels good contacting the balls and it imparts spins readily. But a closer look is in order when a cue costs as much as this one does. Cues in this price range can be held to a higher standard. -The first thing I noticed was that there was no cue extension in the presentation box it comes in. There’s a space for it neatly cut into the foam but the promised extension that was supposed to be in there was missing. On my regular cue, the extension costs about 1/3 the price of the butt so not getting the extension when it’s promised in the description in several places makes the cue significantly less valuable. -The next thing I noticed was that, although the butt has a titanium joint pin, that pin screws into plastic in the shaft. There is no titanium insert in the shaft… it’s just one piece… threads for the pin are cut into a plastic piece that also serves as the collar. And it’s not cleanly cut at all. The parts line up well and the cue is straight but without a titanium insert, it’s anybody’s guess how long it will stay that way, especially if you break with your playing cue. - The cue I received weighed in at nearly 21 ounces. Having a set of weights included seems much less useful when the cue is already that heavy. The weights are designed to be screwed into a deep recess in the butt with a long hex key but there’s no hex key wrench included to install or remove these weights. The recess for the weights begins just past a threaded plastic insert for the (missing) extension but the weight recess itself is not an insert, it’s simply bored very roughly into the wood of the butt so, installing weights might be risky if they get cross threaded in there. Amusingly, the product diagram refers to this as an “Aggravating system” and based on my inspection I’m inclined to agree. The rest of the accessories in the presentation box are OK but they’re throw-ins and don’t add much to the value. In summary, I don’t think this cue is worth the asking price but it plays well enough. If the extension had been included, as it was promised, I’d give it a higher rating.
