This is a very old fashioned book, first printed in 1970, and it shows. The photographs of joints are black and white, and separated from the text about them. The context seems to be the building trade, rather than furniture making, though naturally some of the joints can be used in both. If you're looking for a book on traditional Japanese building construction then it falls short, too. All but one of the joints are binary ones; 'The Complete Japanese Joinery' would be a much better buy for builders.This book has no index.

Found this book very interesting. I purchased for my dad. He liked it as well.

Lo devolví, así que no puedo juzgar en profundidad el contenido. Tiene buena pinta, pero no explica cómo se hacen las uniones, que es lo que yo quería. Aunque incluye fotografías, dada su complejidad es imposible aprender a hacerlas sin mucho más detalle y explicaciones paso a paso. Si solo os interesa verlas y leer sobre el tema seguramente esté bien, desde un punto de vista práctico no.
