3M PELTOR WorkTunes Pro FM Radio Headset, Headband, 32 dB, HRXS220A, Black

These are brilliant! After reading other reviews I was slightly hesitant about buying them but found it difficult to believe that a Peltor product would be flawed and so tried them. As a pair of ear defenders they do an excellent job, very comfortable to wear for long periods and shut out noise better than any others I've tried. The problem with other brands of radio ear defenders is that they are not comfortable to wear and do not shut out external noise effectively so you tend to have the radio on far too loud but don't notice until you move into a quiet area and have to turn it down so these Peltors should be much better for your hearing. Sound quality is good. I find the radio quality good for the stations I listen to. I don't hear any background noise when I turn the volume down to listen through the aux port. I plug a small bluetooth receiver into the aux port turning these into a cheap top quality set of bluetooth ear defenders.

This is my first set of radio ear defenders and what a game changer, im 54 and been in the building industry all my life , always used the cheap ear defenders when needed , theses 3M Peltor worktunes pro are the mutts nuts , comfy easily wear them all day , light weight enough not to really notice them after awhile , sound quality is good and FM radio reception is really good , not the smallest ear defenders but they stop alot of noise and make it enjoyable wearing them ,cant recommend them enough.

Not normally a ‘review’ person, but these are a bit of a niche item. I replaced a previous set of similar (but much cheaper) ear defenders with these Peltor ones. Main use was on a cabless tractor with a flail mower, and a ride on John Deere lawn mower. The radio part in these is definitely a step up. I listen to Radio 2 or 4, and both stations come through nice and clear on FM. With that said, I think the superior noise reduction from what are standard, but excellent quality ear defenders from Peltor probably make the radio sound as good as it does. A four, rather than a five star rating because, for this sort of money, I had expected something other than shiny plastic, sweaty ear cups. With that said, Peltor make aviation related headsets, and elastic, washable covers are available that fit perfectly. All in all, probably as good as you’re going to get, and worth the price.

Really like the build quality and finish of these. been using them for month now constant use on a grass cutting machine. Audio is clear but limited (in accordance with db level to protect) but they are so good at blocking the outside it’s not a struggle to hear. Fine tuning the station can be a bit of a pain. Batteries have are still going strong. great set of fm radio muffs for the price

These are great headphones. The built in radio and 3.5 connection is great. I use these for cutting grass and even with the radio on a medium volume I can still hear errors on the lawnmower. They ear defenders have great sound reducing technology and the foam padding makes them really comfortable to wear.

Nice ear defenders, not too comfy after an hour or so. Not so good radio receiver. This has been mentioned before and is true - FM reception is rubbish. There has to be a way to hack a batter antenna into this!

I am very satisfied with my purchase they are very comfortable and the sound quality is excellent and they even come with batteries, l would highly recommend this product.

Ich bin von den Teilen echt begeistert. Der Gehörschutz sitzt bequem, schirmt die Umgebung gut ab und schützt die Ohren zuverlässig. Gerade bei lauteren Arbeiten ist das ein großer Vorteil. Das integrierte Radio funktioniert überraschend gut. Der Empfang ist stabil und der Klang ist klar genug, um Musik oder Nachrichten entspannt zu hören. Die Bedienung ist einfach und schnell verstanden. Dadurch macht Arbeiten gleich deutlich mehr Spaß und wirkt nicht so eintönig. Die Verarbeitung wirkt robust und hochwertig, alles fühlt sich stabil an und nicht billig. Insgesamt ein richtig gutes Produkt, das genau das hält, was es verspricht. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen und klar weiterempfehlen.

Bon il faut faire un compromis, oui il a tendence a serrer la tête, mais du coup il ne tombe pas et ne bouge pas. L'attenuation est super efficace. La fonction radio c'est marrant au debut sa marche bien, mais avec le temps en faite je m'en sert plus trop ou alors faut que je soit seul sur un chantier voila, a refaire je prendrais celui de base

Avevo acquistato il modello precedente con l'antenna e le monopoline e continuavo accidentalmente a strusciare ogni dove con fastidiose conseguenze, queste invece sono perfette avendo pulsanti protetti e prive di antenna esterna, la radio funziona molto bene e insonorizzano altrettanto, il suono non è hifi ma accettabile e le batterie durano giorni, sono comode e solide punto :)
