Useful nightlight and torch.

This was for my 96 year old mother and it works perfectly.

Many virtues: bright, can be stood upright, modest price. One drawback: lose that brightness relatively quickly.

Exactly as described. I bought 2, for our first and second floor hallways, and they start to light the emergency glow light at dusk. The torch is bright and always ready to go. Very good and 5/5 stars.

Brilliant idea. Going to get another two. They passively light the floor below where you plug them in so you can always find them in a power cut. When you pull the torch out of the holder it lights up fully and you can turn it on and off as a normal torch. Then when finished with it you just put it back in the holder and it passively charges it to full again. I have a pair at the bottom of the stairs and one in the top floor corridor., one in the kitchen by the electrical cupboard and will get another for the front porch so when you come home to a power cut you have immediate access to a fully charged torch you can find in the dark.. Again great idea this.

An elegant product made of good materials. The lighting is good and serves its purpose, as described.

We stayed in a holiday home that had these and decided we need some at home - they act as nightlights, turn on full during a power cut (which happened to us last month!), and are simply a useful torch to have at hand. They probably won’t run as long as a typical disposable-battery torch, but with these (which are very light) you never have to think about how much battery life is left … just grab it and shine it into the corner of that dark cupboard, take it down the garden at night, etc.
