It is useless , the hook is too open and the wind gets under the top and its gone , finally has landed on a hard place and broken , being as the gold finches took one look and refused to use it anyway it is no loss , except it was a waste of money

i am disappointed in this feeder. i bought it hoping to keep starlings from gorging on suet pellets, but even closed to the smallest possible gap they still get in, right in and have a feast!

Wish we had got one before, Sparrows do not feed on it which gives the smaller birds a chance.Really happy with purchase.
