Took a while to figure out how to use and it fairly accurate for general use. Still would use a physical tape measure for precise cuts.

I've been using this for a few months on the major renovation we're doing on our house. Much more convenient than a tape measure. I've found the geometry calculations convenient and intuitive. My General Contractor borrowed it to measure the pitch of my roof and he's going to buy one for himself. My only complaint is that the laser is not bright enough for most outdoor use. I've gotten plenty of indoor use, so I totally got my money's worth. I've put their outdoor unit on my wishlist. Interoperability with my Android phone was a requirement for me, but honestly, I usually don't use it with the phone.

It was for my husband and he likes the easy to use features and how small it is.

This little device makes me starkly aware of just how far in the dust modern technology has left me. As you can see in the photo with its arch enemy and primary competitor—the tape measure—the laser distance meter is tiny! It’s a little larger than a lipstick, and about half the size of a small Roku remote, so it is easy and convenient to carry. It has a sleek, modern design which is enhanced by the grey aluminum and ABS plastic materials. The laser measure does so much more than I will ever need, as my primary uses will be simple measures of distance or, at the most complex, area measurements. Real carpenters, however, will appreciate its more advanced features. I could see this device being incredibly useful for architects, draftsmen, contractors, HVAC estimators, appraisers, realtors, and others. Unlike another laser measure I have, this measure has a large horizontal screen with large, brightly lit numbers even my aging eyes can see. I also like the smoothly sliding door which gives easy access to the charging port. That seems to be a significant improvement over the rubber plugs that most electronic devices employ. The laser is bright, and I found it easily visible at a distance of 62 feet. I’m sure that it is visible at much longer distances, but I ran out of room in my house. Unlike most products I purchase nowadays, the laser measure actually has good instructions with both words and drawings. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I wish other manufacturers would follow suit. All in all, this is a very impressive and useful tool! I would give it more than five stars if I could.

I really like how small and compact this laser measuring tool is! It’s perfect for getting quick room dimensions or dimensions of long distances, especially when, trying to calculate materials usage. I’ve used it for estimating the amount of flooring in the bedroom, and the amount of mulch I need in flowerbeds. It’s a great quick estimator instead of having to pull out the tape measure. it also calculates additional types of dimensions, but that is above my pay grade. I really like it or it’s a basic function of giving me the distance and it’s great that you can select multiple types of units to see the distance converting to.

With light use, this stops work after a dozen times

Love this product. Pocket sized, and USB C rechargeable so no fluffing around with batteries. Have calibrated it to other devices and is accurate. Perfect for up to about 25 metres.

Me ha sorprendido mucho su tamaño. Lo imaginaba más grande, aunque estilizado. Es súper portable (incluso demasiado, ahora temo que me cueste encontrarlo en la mochila). Estéticamente es el medidor láser más bonito que he tenido. Me gusta también que venga con su funda, su cordón y su cable para cargarlo. Me apena que no pueda medir por debajo de los 50cms, aunque es algo común en la mayoría de láseres. Parece muy de andar por casa, aunque para el tipo de mediciones que yo suelo hacer (medición de viviendas por interior) es más que suficiente. Edit después de meses de uso: Funciona bien, pero es demasiado pequeño. A veces resulta incómodo agarrarlo, y es muy fácil apretar al botón de "medir desde el otro extremo del aparato" sin darte cuenta empezar a tomar medidas erróneamente, donde te faltan 11cms. Visto con perspectiva, optaría por un láser más voluminoso, menos bonito pero más práctico.

Better than expected. Very easy to use and seemingly robust. A carrying pouch was included.
