These are obviously for a different hair type than mine, but look like they'd work well for thick hair.

Very stretchy. Fits tight with 3 loops, but I could stretch another two loops out of this hair tie. Very thick tie that is extremely soft and holds my pony tail up with a firm shape- not sagging. Looks cuter around my wrist that a regular hair tie, and it’s not too tight around my wrist or too loose. Pretty much everything I’m looking for in a hair tie. I never want to buy any other!

I was skeptical about these hair bands at first, BUT I can CONFIRM they are great for styling box braids. I could easily do bun updo and ponytail variations with these hair bands and bobby pins to hold the wrapped braids, which was great for exercise! These hair bands are very elastic and stretchy enough to fit around layers of box braids for bun styles. They feel really soft too and not tight like it will break on you or snap, crackle, pop Lol.

I have been using these hair ties for years and am never going back to any other elastic. These hold my hair well without getting tangled or damaging my hair. They are comfortable to wear around my wrist, so I always have one at the ready. After many uses and daily abuse, they do get pilly and worn-looking. But I have never broken one. They can get overstretched, but a trip through the wash helps with that. My only disappointment is they don't come in more colours, and I wish there were more in a package (because my daughter keeps steeling them!)

The material is good, but the hair ties are small not large like how the description mentioned, and there were only 15 ties not 20, so the only thing is that the material is good
