What type of foam comes in the hard case?

The hard case comes with high-density, cross-linked polyethylene pick-and-pluck foam. The foam is pre-scored into small cubes – you pluck out the shape of your gear. It is closed-cell, so it does not absorb water.

Is the hard case waterproof?

How do I customize the pick-and-pluck foam?

Use fingers or tweezers to pluck pre-scored cubes. Pluck the exact shape of your gear. Leave at least 1/4" foam between items. Test-fit frequently. The bottom solid layer remains intact – your gear sits on a flat floor.
