This is a great pump; I'm actually using it for a soft wash sprayer (So I'm running chemicals through it) and it's holding up fine! Just make sure to ALWAYS rinse thoroughly with plenty of fresh water! I've went through a lot of different pumps over the years, and this one is solid, especially for the price! I know this isn't technically designed for soft washers, but it is doing great haha. To be fair though, it does use Viton seals. The 70psi pressure is great for hosing down the side of a house or the roof, just the right amount of pressure. It's also perfect for my application considering it uses a stainless-steel check valve and has a built-in pressure switch! Overall, I'm very satisfied with this pump!

PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. Received my Rv water pump. Decided to test before mounting and was disappointed in the flow rate. In addition the pump refused to shut down on its own when no water demand. Initially I thought I purchased the wrong style of pump so I called customer service and spoke to Liz. Super friendly agent and she advised she had received several calls along the same issue. We arranged to have a replacement pump sent. In the meantime I made an adjustment to the flow rate and pressure was more as I expected. AND Now the pump was operating as expected. Great flow rate and pump automatically shut down when no demand was needed. I instantly called Liz to cancel the new shipment. She was so happy to hear the problem solved and was happy to hear that perhaps the problem was due to improper Factory setting for the flow rate. This is a company that values customer service and stand by their product. Super happy! Will update this review if the situation changes. But if you purchase this pump you can feel confident that any issues will be happily solved by Liz!!

I'm not sure if most RV owners realize they have a strainer filter between their fresh water tank and their 12 volt water pump. This type of filter is meant to filter out larger debris that might be in the tank before it can clog the water pump. The Kitvance water pump strainer filter has a 1/2 inch NPSM inlet and a 1/2 inch NPSM outlet making this a simple plug and play filter for the vast majority of RV water systems. This one fit right in my RV with no problems. It is made very well and with the 50 mesh screen it will filter out any debris from the fresh water tank. The clear cap also allows easy inspection of the filter. This is a well built filter and I will order again.
