Continental has been my go-to bike tyre brand for the last >30 years and more than 200,000 miles as a cyclist. Good balance of price, performance, quality and durability, which is why they get my repeat business.

Apprehensive to purchase at first due to the high price of each individual tyre BUT remembering you get what you pay for I took the plungeAnd so pleased I did!Opened the box to find a durable tyre, well made that had the feel of being tough. Fitting was relatively easy to my mavic rims and look really trick on my Boardman CX TeamOut for my first ride I noticed some rolling noise but I guess thats the sheer width of these 32mm tyres; however the width and subsequent grip gives me further confidence in cornering. Whilst out riding I hit several patches of gravel which, with previous tyres, would likely have resukted in a puncture - but these tyres shrugged it all off with not even a witness mark on them (I know as I checked!)All in despite the high price I recommend these tyres for winter riding (My CX is my winter steed) and commutingUPDATE!Hit some broken head light glass with my rear gator tyre and, although the rubber layer, was ripped no puncture was had where other tyres would, I'm sure, have failedVery very impressed 👍

Was recommended gatorskins by a friend of mine for my road bike to replace the stock tyres that came with it (Vittoria zaffiros I think). The gatorskins were relatively easy to fit and I noticed a real difference on my first ride out. They just felt smooth, slicker, faster but without any loss of grip. A fast reliable tyre with excellent puncture resistant qualities, I'd recommend these to anyone. Well worth the money.

Conti Gatorskins are good tyres. Just be aware that price is for a single tyre, not a pair. And also check the specs carefully on the Continental website if in doubt, don't trust what is written in the product description here (for example, they're listed as tubeless tyres here [and, bizarrely, mountain bike tyres in the features and specs] but they're not).

I can't keep up with these tires. I've bought so many tires but yeah I give this five stars. I usually go through tires like nothing really because it only lasts about 2 weeks on my bike. Depends how fast you'll cycle really. But yeah here the good quality. If I was a lighter rider. Yeah they'll probably last longer but yeah but it doesn't come down to like the durability. It's perfect. It's just this is the weight of the wider. How fast they cycle. Easy to install as well. If you got the white rim and punch of protection, yes it is fits nicely resistance for a lighter rider. A lot of traction

Tyre is durable and good quality.

Worth the money. I ride to work every day all year round. One puncture a year at most and that will be the one you didn't stand a chance against.

a pesar de que son un poco mas caras, al final resultan ser la mejor opción, tienen un dibujo semislick que te sirve muy bien para andar en el asfalto, ganas en velocidad y facilidad de pedaleo, pero no pierdes agarre, una excelente opción, mas rápidas que las llantas híbridas que tenia, no me arrepiento de la compra

I'm not an avid bicycler, but I do commute to school everyday (16 miles total) in a densely populated, and therefore dirty, area. The winter's arriving so I wanted new tires, andI was also tired of replacing tubes since my other tires weren't thick enough for the urban debris. After all the rave reviews, I thought this tire could possibly save me if I were drowning so I gave it a try.I have replaced tires before, but NOTHING came close to the level of difficulty of putting these tires on the rims. I initially thought I ordered the wrong tire but that wasn't it. It took an hour and a half to successfully wrench the tires onto the rim--deploying sundry metal items as levers since the classic plastic tire levers weren't working--and two busted tubes as I tried to fit them on with the tire and the tire pinched a hole in them from the tight fit. After letting the tires stretch for a while, it still was just as difficult to put the tires on the rim in order to replace the tubes.Nevertheless, the inauspicious beginning ended, and I love the new tires. I, out of necessity, must sometimes ride over garbage and glass, and these tires don't flinch. Rain, no problem. Uneven gravely roads, no worries. Good traction even though it's a simple design. And the best part: Made in Germany. I love German quality (I lived there for a while), and these tires have already proven themselves. However, the winter and ice are yet to come, so I might amend my review in a few months time...

Sono ottimi pneumatici. Li usavo negli USA dove bucavo in continuazione e questi hanno risolto la situazione. Al momento di cambiare quelli della mia fissa in Italia, non ho avuto dubbi.

Forse non sono il massimo della scorrevolezza ma io mi ero stufato di bucare sulle strade disastrate delle mie parti. Questi copertoncini sono decisamente più robusti e per i miei scopi da dilettante vanno più che bene. Sono cari, diciamo che si trovano prodotti decisamente più abbordabili. Non ho idea della durata in chilometri. Per il momento non ho più bucato.
