If you are looking for a simple, unobtrusive bidet that just works, this is it. I've been through a few over the years, but I've had this one for a few years now and if I somehow managed to break it I would buy another one within minutes. True story, my girlfriend of over a year didn't even know I had a bidet until I mentioned it this week, and wouldn't believe me until I showed her. If this is your first venture into the world of bidets, there are a couple of things you should know: 1. You will never go back. I utterly despise bidet-less toilets now. They shouldn't be allowed to exist. 2. If you're worried about cold water in the winter and think you need a fancy electric heated bidet, all I can tell you is yes, the water is cold, but no, it's not a big deal. I can't speak to your posterior specifically, but as for myself and others I've spoken to, it just ain't that sensitive. And given that this only needs water pressure to work, there is less to break (or electrocute you) which I consider a plus. 3. This is a great way to try a bidet without breaking the bank. And I believe you will find that you don't need anything more, actually, as this is a perfect design. 4. While this should fit most toilets just fine, there may be some instances where you need some modifications. In my case, because of a unique tank design, I needed a short hose extension because the valve for the bidet would not otherwise fit. No big deal. 5. Seriously, just do it.

My mom in law bought a Brondell bidet and I bought the Genie about a week apart. I installed both and like the Genie significantly more. The Genie has a good slow close lid which stays open when the lid is lifted. The Brondell lid didn’t stay open. The Genie looks like a real toilet seat with the attachment point readily accessible for cleaning. The Brondell lid has a bulky attachment that covers the attachments and has a button on the side that allows you to remove the seat easily. It doesn’t help for cleaning because the attachment is a large piece of plastic that crosses both seat attachment points. Also, the Brondell leaked and took significant effort to stop the leak. The Genie requires no plumbers tape and had no leaks. Finally, the Genie bidet portion has a detent on the knob for turning off the water, the Brondell required me to feel when the water stopped. Overall, after 2 weeks of regular use, I like the Genie a lot. It is pretty easy to install, has never leaked, the seat feels like a good mid range toilet seat regardless of the bidet feature and I like how the knob turns the water off and on. It is smooth and doesn’t feel cheap. One other thing, I have not found I need heated water which surprised me until I tried my mom in laws. I would buy this bidet again and highly recommend it. Update August 1, 2024: No change in opinion after 7 months of use. It still works great. No leaks and lid closes slowly and smoothly. Would definitely buy again.

When I saw this product I knew I had to have it. I have used BioBidet and Tushy attachments prior to this and they were always clumsy, since they were an attachment that you had to sandwich between your toilet bowl and your seat. They never felt very secure--I'd have to tighten the fasteners all the time--and they tilted the seat forward a bit which wasn't that comfortable to sit on. GenieBidet's solution is ingenious--the bidet is part of the seat. This makes it far easier to keep the toilet bowl clean since the whole apparatus lifts up with the seat--you're not left with nozzles sticking into the bowl when you're trying to clean everything. Plus, the nozzles retract behind a flap, which helps to keep them cleaner--they're not present in the bowl when you're doing your business. The water connection is very well thought-out, using a coupler that allows rotation of the water hose, which will cut down on fatigue. I'm worried about the o-ring failing over time, but that should be far in the future. Two negatives. First, the water jet is a little "sharp". It's just one point of water that comes out, rather than an array of water jets like on other devices. You really can't use much water pressure as the one water jet ends up needling you in the behind, if it doesn't just give you an enema outright. I'd prefer to see the nozzle head have four to five separate jets like BioBidet does it. Second, since everything's built into the toilet seat, the back part of the seat is a bit wide/deep. The opening into the bowl is a smaller than a standard toilet seat, and with a round toilet seat you're already kind of cramped for room. You may have to adjust how you think about sitting on a toilet seat if you don't want your private parts touching the front rim. Both of these negatives are things I can easily deal with, and I'm very happy with this bidet. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a new version someday that hopefully takes into account some of my issues, but in the meantime, I think I'm probably going to install another one on the other toilet in our home.

Adding an additional star since the review below. The product is absolutely great. Less TP, great cleansing, comfortable. Really changed everything. Would purchase again without question. Previously: Yes. It feels really cheap, hard and small. However the lid does stay up which is a big improvement over the competitor's which never stayed up. Unlike the competitor, it doesn't blast your entire rear. It has a flap which closes off the cleansing wands which might keep it a little cleaner over time. However the wands are mounted right at the inner rim of the seat, which is not great. Regarding the install, it took about 3 hours. Not because it was complicated, but I was working in a very cramped area and had to swap out all of the connections because the sizes of the tubes were not compatible. It was leaking everywhere and I had to get all of the threads coated with sealing tape. Also I really did not have the correct tools for the job. As a major plus, the angle and the shape of the seat seem more natural. It doesn't throw your body forward like the competitor. There is one stream of water, not the weak and turbo concept of the competitor that actually hurts. I used the competitor's model for 5 years and for the last 12 months I have been manually pushing back the wand which stopped retracting. That was gross but I started using a mini plumber's helper for the job. In summary, the Genie was a real hassle to install and it may not last long, but it looks clean and works correctly. Would I buy it again? Probably. Re-piping and re-wiring (if you have the money) is the best option.

I had been using under the seat bidets for years. I found they worked well, but cleaning around the mount/seat is just impossible. When you remove one of these add on bidets, you realize just how gross it is. All of the "stuff" under it. I was able to install 2 of these in 20 minutes, which included the removal of the old bidet, and new hoses. What I like: Hose quality is good. They are not cheap and I have no leaks. Just remember, over tightening is a no no with plumbing. Hand tighten, then just snug up with a wrench. That's all. Easy to turn knob. I don't understand the comments that the knob is difficult to turn. My only guess is that these people have water pressure that is too high. The more pressure, the more difficult it will be to turn. The seat is comfortable for me, spouse and daughters. I'm 6'1, 200, wife and daughters shorter and smaller. All find them comfortable. The spray for the rear is "spot on" :D. The front spray for the women is gentler than others we've owned. It's a much better design. This is the first time I've purchased GenieBidet, so I do not know how well they will hold up. As long as a get 1 to 2 years, I'm good. I like to replace them at that point anyways, for cleanliness. Summary: Good buy, affordable, comfortable, easy to install. Recommended.

I'm surprised by how much I love this bidet seat! IT FITS! It mounts like a REAL toilet seat and FITS on my round toilet. Because it's a round, the bidet seat it replaced was a constant struggle to find the right balance of not adjusting it too far forward and keeping the lid off my back! If it got out of adjustment (bolt come loose occasionally,) I was holding the seat up to go number one! The old design was advertised for a round, but it was basically an elongated-only design. It seems to me like MOST of the other brands have this issue (I looked long and hard for the last failure and missed this one somehow.) My wife wouldn't even use the bathroom with that bidet! IT IS CLEANABLE!!!!! Every bidet standalone or seat that I've owned eventually gets horrid and impossible to clean. Every one of them leaked internally in some way so that, after several months, there was literal poop water oozing from them and the toilet could never be cleaned sufficiently. When you did clean it, it was gross and it even started to stain the toilet underneath. Disgusting! This bidet's internals are inside the seat! No bottom seams for poop water to ooze from! (This may actually be my favorite part...our bathroom always stunk a bit! Even with a thorough cleaning...as thoroughly as it could be cleaned, that is.) Things I just like... The shutoff valve to the bidet seat is a nice touch! Makes it easy to take off to deep clean if necessary. I suppose it will let you control the pressure too, but the knob also adjusts pressure and seems great. Feels comfortable and looks great. HOME RUN! If you have a round, just buy it now!

A bidet was recommended by my gynecologist due to lichensclerosis. A full-on bidet wasn't an option and I didn't have a clue that a bidet toilet seat was an option. So, I researched online and compared brands, and threw the dice. Thankfully, this bidet seat is exactly what I needed. My husband installed it in a reasonable amount of time and effort. I didn't want anything that had electricity involved, so the heated water option was out. Unheated water opens my eyes a bit when first applied, but I get used to it quickly, and the coolness feels good for me. I dab myself mostly dry with very few sections of TP, instead of 3 feet worth. As far as bm goes, it takes awhile for enough water to get me clean. I don't know if this is normal, having never used a bidet until now. No warm air drying available with the bidet seats, and I can happily live with that, due to the expense of bidet toilets. The construction is solid, but the lid seems a little flimsy. I'm careful when I sit on the lid while it's down. Both lid and seat close gently. The spray nozzles work well. I like how I can adjust the amount of spray/pressure available. If you lift the seat to clean the toilet, be sure the inside of the seat is dry or it will drip water onto the floor behind the toilet. I don't think this is flaw, because I can't imagine a solution. I would recommend this product.

Update. 6 months and working great. I love the profile and very easy to clean. Definitely recommend. ————— I purchased this Bidet to replace my Luxe Neo which had served me well for 3 years and finally stopped working. Though this is twice the price, I like the design. Low profile seat and NO control arm sticking out. And the soft close is a nice feature. Fits pertfectly on my round toilet. Instalation was pretty straight forward for me. Though I did experince some slight leakage in the connection to the T-connector. I removed and added Teflon plumbers tape to the connections and fine now. I like that it's easy to clean around the seat, compared to the Luxe bar that attached under the seat. One of the main reasons I went with this design. Seat is comfortable and sprays work fine. Me only concern is the duribilty, this being a "Plastic" seat. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I certainly wouldn't sit on the top of the closed seat. My old seat was wood and very sturdy.

Important to note that the American elongated seat shape doesn’t suit ANY toilets in Aus.. I actually shopped around looking for a new toilet to suit this seat and they just don’t make them like that here. The seat still technically “fits” on the toilet but looks very strange and out of place. Certainly takes away any Stealth that it was going to have about it lol It’s so hard to find a left hand bidet control, especially one that is subtle and not an extended arm style, so I had to settle for the bizarre setup I’ve got now. The bidet sprays are great and it does the job.

Easy to install as well as use. Seems sturdy, I saw reviews of the brackets breaking so I am hoping that won’t happen.

Les amis si vous voulez ne plus avoir besoin de papier hygiénique c’est la solution et pour ceux qui ne peuvent avoir l’eau chaude connectée, moi j’ai acheté la bouteille bidet de marque happypo que je remplis lorsque je fais 💩 c’est plus tolérable pour la température. Alors sortez vos débarbouillettes pour tout simplement vous éponger 😉

Installed very easily!, perfect fit, love the sleek look, needed a left hand side to keep hidden from entrance to bathroom, wish the hose attachment had some extentions or adjustability so I could hide hose a little better down left side ( see pics) Other that that very small gripe, it's works very well and I'm very pleased 4.7 out of 5
