Very well made and very easy to use. Not much for setup and does a beautiful job. I mounted it on a 3/4-inch board for ease of moving around. Seems to be very well made and very durable.

I am very pleased with the scroll saw. It is well made and works exactly as I hoped. It was easy to hook up to my vacuum system to reduce sawdust accumulation during sawing. I recommend this tool.

Context is often important and so I'll set up this review with a bit of context. I hadn't used a scroll saw in something like 60 years and needed one to make some intricate cuts for a few birdhouses I wanted to make. Nothing horribly intricate, but still, a scroll saw was called for. That's what had me knowingly buying this entry level scroll saw. That said, I'm more-or-less pleased with it but there are a few cons to going cheap. first though, the positives: It's inexpensive; the integrated dust removal and LED worklight are a plus, being able to connect the shopvac for nearly sawdust free cutting is great; it has plenty of power to cut anything you'd want to cut, the cutting table tilts; blade changes are easy and hassle free; the adjustable blade speed is nice and the blade tensioner is easy to use. Basically it has all the features most people would want. Unfortunately, there are a few negatives. First off, to get a square 90 degree cut you have to adjust either the blade or the table. Since there is no adjustment available to adjust the tilt of the blade, you have to adjust the cutting table so it's exactly at 90 degree to the blade. When you do, the table sits a few degrees off level. Not a big issue, but the engineering or build of the saw needs tweaking. The other issue is that the table vibrates... just the cutting table, and while it's not horrible, it's still something that makes precise cuts difficult. Again, an engineering/design or build issue. Overall for the price and for my use it's fine, but definitely not 5-Star worthy.

Great saw, finally replaced by 25+ year old one that just gave up. After much research, this is the one I went with. It is well built and well designed, sits solid on my work bench with no movement. It is just the right size for what I do and with the foot pedal it is even easier for detail work. It is much quieter than my old one, but zips though the crafts very precisely. Easy to switch on and off, easy to click between run and foot pedal. Nice light and air puffer for close work.

A well made and durable piece of equipment. I hope that it will endure through my hobby projects.

I ordered this because of projects I'd like to do better. Never used one before. In shopping for "just the right one" I found this one was on sale that PRIME DAY; and that it had a foot pedal (see main picture and other product reviews). While the one I received has all the same markings and numbers on the box and on the saw, it does not have the foot pedal I had specifically looked for while shopping. ALSO In following the set-up directions on page 17 of the manual to verify the blade was at a true 90deg. (it wasn't) I was directed to remove the "Drop Foot Bevel Lock Screw" (part #23) that holds the "Drop Foot" (part #19) in place. The screw was secured so tightly that the Phillips groves are now mangled. I will have to replace it to assure the Drop Foot does not come loose during operation. My las disappointment I'm sharing is that the sawdust collection port points directly at the operator (Me). I'll have to get a 90deg. elbow for this very minor annoyance. I hope all my future adventures and accomplishments with this saw are much better. BTW: The sawing works like a charm.

Very nice scroll saw, easy operation, works well on all types of wood. Noise level is typical for this saw, great product for the money.

I'm well satisfied with this saw, EXCELLENT, THANKS

Worked with it a fair amount already and find it to be a pretty good tool. The base was set at a perfect angle right out of the box. Cutting is smooth and the variable speeds are a nice feature. My only complaints are that the light could be better. It shines on one side causing a shadow from the blade onto the wood and you can lose your lines sometimes. I have it set behind the blade now which is better but a built in light shining from above would be ideal. Also, the blower to clear the sawdust on your piece doesn't work at all. The movement of the arm is supposed to pump a bellows into a tube aimed at where the blade contacts the piece but mine doesn't emit any air. Not sure if it's just me but I don't think it's a good design.
