I bought these but the headlight wiring is different than the 2021's or older. How do I know which wires to connect the red and yellow?

The red wire is for the white color and yellow is for the yellow light. I had the mechanic connect both since my cars lights come on automaticlly. The white turn on with the daylight running lights and the yellow turn on when lighting outside is overcast. The yellow is conn e tes to my fog lights. I hope this helps.
