Beautiful and sturdy planter table. The reviews were very helpful with the assembly, including the negative ones. One of them mentioned problems with the wood splitting when the screws were inserted so I made sure to pre-drill a pilot hole before running the screws in. Worked like a champ. But our favorite review was the one from Melodie where they attached casters to the bottom. What a great idea. I couldn't find any that had proper size brackets to fit the legs so I found some threaded stem-mount casters with inserts for mounting to wood legs. Made by Hirate and available on Amazon in several sizes. I chose the 2.5 inch ones and they work great. To attach them you carefully drill a 1/2 inch hole about 1.5 inches deep into the bottom of the legs. Then you screw the threaded insert into the hole until flush. The kit didn't come with an allen wrench to install it but luckily I had a 10mm allen wrench in my shop. Then you screw the threaded stem into the insert with the provided wrench and you're done. The wheels make it so much more versatile and easy to move around. Totally worth the extra $24. Love the table and can't wait to put it to use! Edit: Decided to make our first attempt something easy. Lettuce, lettuce, kale and cilantro. Still yielding in late October in NC. Totally pleased.

I... am... not... handy. I put this together in 15 minutes and it's solid. When I ordered it, my wife said "Well you will get a year out of it" . I have it on my back porch so it doesn't get exposed to the weather. My herbs are popping and it performs as advertised. If I were to put it outside of my porch I probably would paint it or stain it to protect it, but no need if not in direct weather.

This planter is great. Easy to assemble, just make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the pieces, installed one upside down, but easy enough to fix. I DIY’d a shade cage to protect my herbies from blazing in the Florida sun-so far they are thriving! And I added casters to the bottom so I can easily move her around to catch rain or shade when needed. Fits a good amount of plants. In my laziness my plan is to just keep them in their pots which is working out great. All in all having lots of fun with this planter! May get another for veggies.

I would like to give 5 stars but I can't. Overall it's a good planter. It's pretty sturdy, and easy to assemble. While I was assembling the product, one of the bottom pieces came up. The nails at the bottom are not very sturdy. What I did was try to push it back down, and it did go down but the nail bent. I'm not sure how long that will last and I will have to replace the nail. Also while assembling when you put everything together the way it should, some of the pieces will still be hard to fit and you will have to force it. It's good for what I need.

When I first opened the box it looked really cheap to me but once I put it together I found it to be sturdy and very nice looking! Not cheap at all!!! There is a shelf at the bottom where you can store things and there is plenty of room for multiple types of herbs. It comes with these black liners that initially look really big and sloppy but once you fill with soil and herbs they fit nicely in the compartments. This looks so much much better than having herbs in random pots. I get so many compliments on it and I love to look at it myself!! Great buy for the price!!

I purchased this item 2 years ago, and it withstood multiple snowfalls last year, uncovered, on my back patio and doesn’t show any rot anywhere. Last spring, we planted herbs, and this year, we planted pollinator flowers. No matter what gets planted, it thrives in this raised bed with proper attention and watering. Although the wood seemed dainty when putting it together, it really is very durable. I love the inserts that go in each pocket, making it very easy to plant and water without losing any of the dirt through the slats. Would definitely buy again if it ever begins to deteriorate.

Since moving to a condo I have missed having a place to garden. This definitely fits the bill. It was super easy to assemble and honestly nicer than I expected it to be. Wasn’t sure what I wanted to start out with so I just got a bunch of herbs and two pepper plants to see how they fare. I do a lot of cooking and canning so I wanted to be able to walk out onto my balcony and grab what I need to do both. I did end up putting a mat on the bottom in case the water comes through the planters to be courteous to my downstairs neighbors. However I have not had any of the water come through the mesh bags yet. I was more worried about rainy days when I can’t control the amount of water that’s going in. I’ve had this set up for about a month now and love going out there every day to see the progress of my little herb garden.

Looks (and smells) fantastic, it's a good height, the pockets are a great size and the liners that go in them are great. Once put together its light but sturdy and we placed it on pavers to stabilize. Pretty easy to put together - there was a concern as there were only a few pilot holes but with cedar wood being softer it wasn't a problem with a drill. So far so good.

Good design however disappointed with the quality and lack of customer service. Not only is the wood thin and flimsy but also arrived faulty! I tried to contact the supplier however they have not replied. Buyers beware! The wood is very thin, flimsy and arrived with splits in the wood. The dividers don’t even stay up as they are slightly too short. Save your money and buy a real wood garden bed.

I had no trouble putting it together, it’s pretty simple. I did find it easier to drill the screw holes prior to attaching the pieces. It isn’t a heavy duty build but I was looking for something I could move around on my deck so it’s perfect. I like the fact that the upper shelf is slotted for drainage and the dividers removable. Added a couple of hardware pieces for decoration. Now all I need are the herbs.

Excellent value for your money. Lovely size herb garden, with a handy shelf to hold watering can and tools. Very sturdy.

Very nice design and sturdy product. Large compartments so can fit things like tomato plants too which is a bonus. Can’t wait to have all my goodies in it on the patio this summer. Great product!

I used some wood glue and the screws that were supplied with the product, and it’s really sturdy, great buy!
