This is easy to use as a breath freshner and plaque control for my little dog. She had quite a few teeth out and I don't want her to lose the rest. So I back it up with dog tooth paste on a dental stick chew morning and night and my vet says it seems to be working. I have to add that she won't have anything to do with toothpaste on a dog tooth brush she snarles and snaps at me although she does allow me to open her mouth and inspect her teeth but the brush is an absolute no no.

Good value for money. My cat suffers with very bad breath and this stuff really helps. I put couple drops only in a bowl of water and makes a big difference. No smell or odours, no weird colours. No discomfort to the cat and is safe for them. Great alternative to try to clean teeth constantly.

Brings the freshness back

I wasn't able to use this. My cats immediately noticed it in their water fountain and refused to drink. I tried in a bowl of water rather than the fountain - still not effective. Had to bin it. Might be good for people whose cats aren't extremely sensitive to scent.

I bought this assuming it was fine for my two small cats as it is apparently recommended in America. When I tried it in their water, the smallest one vomited. So I checked the ingredients properly -- more fool me for not doing that before -- and found cetylpyridinium chloride. The active ingredient is an antiseptic, i.e. the stuff you use to spray clean tables. Exposure is dangerous for humans, so imagine what the effects are of daily drinking on a 2.8kg cat. All the advice online is that any pet product with this in MUST be avoided -- it damages your animal's cells (cytotoxicity) by rupturing their cell membranes and has a low lethal dose. I wish I had known this before I bought this product and had to tip it down the drain, but I am glad I found out before I started adding the recommended half capful to my pets' water bowl every day. Unbelievable this is being sold as a 'health product' without the relevant warnings.

The vets recommended I brush my cats teeth as she has very mild gingivitis, impossible task, this stuff really helps, the only reason I know is because I no longer gag when she meows in my face, I add this to their water fountain and remove the filter, great stuff, will be checking to see if this brand also has a food additive to help alongside it

I needed something to freshen my 18 year old cats breath, as it was getting bad and she insists on shouting into my face in the mornings. I cannot put her through the stress of brushing, so opted for this and it really works. Just a splash into her fresh water every day and within 2 days the bad breath had gone.

I purchased this product in early April, but the bottle I received has an expiry date of 31 October, which is only about 6 months away. I’m not sure if this product naturally has a short shelf life or if the seller is sending items that are close to expiry. I have been using it for about a month now, adding it to my cat’s water as directed, but unfortunately I haven’t noticed any improvement in my cat’s breath or overall dental condition. Overall, I’m a bit disappointed with both the short expiry date and the lack of noticeable results.

Easy to use. Haven't noticed huge improvement but the cats drink the water i put it in no issues.

Lo compré hace bastantes meses así que puedo dar una opinión realista del producto. Quería que la boca de mi gata bebé dejase de oler tanto, especialmente al comer pescado. No funciona y no lo recomiendo, además puede favorecer a la aparición del biofilm en los bebederos, con lo que puede generar bacterias en los órganos de tu mascota con la consecuencia de generar infecciones urinarias entre otros. No usar en fuentes o bebederos durante días, además se desconoce si podría tener efectos negativos en el animal por otras causas. Las instrucciones de uso tampoco son claras, sin lugar a dudas, no volveré a repetir.

Simple to apply in water, I applied little by little till I'm able to make sure it won't make them queasy. Love the purchase, very helpful and would reccomend.
