These spikes are terrific. I hadn’t realized that you could interlock them to create a secure barrier. I’ve had a raccoon who has been trying to eat my koi. The pond is covered with a net but he would find a way inside. When he stepped on the spikes, he jumped 3’ in the air!!! So far he hasn’t returned for a second attempt. Buying more today!!

It’s the real deal folks. No more squirrels. (The smartest rodents on the planet) Had I known my dog would blow out his ACL as they taunted him, I could have saved $12,000.+ Yeah, that’s a low figure if there no infection. Dog owners, that’s no bs $. Vet surgeons are swimming in money thanks to squirrels. You’ve been warned. The spikes have a stupid fastening design. Screws are next to madness to use, zip ties are far easier. Good boy!

Effective at deterring critters as shown in the video (stopped raccoons from coming into my yard). The only concern is that the plastic cracked in a couple of places while I was screwing them into the top wooden rail of the fence. Wondering how long these will last. These spikes are extremely pointy and generally this product is well designed.

Bought these spikes to deter birds from building nests on the top of my front porch lights. Well, they don't help at all! I have front door cameras and I could watch the birds sit on these spikes! Before the spikes, I could go out every morning and knock the nests down. But with the spikes, they actually built nests in them and used mud, dirt, etc to secure their nesting materials! It was difficult to get the nest down with their extra strength building materials, so after getting one nest down I finally gave up. Yes, they built the nest in the spikes. Unfortunately, in one of our storms, the nest fell, which is why I didn't want them to build there because every year the nest falls and the eggs/birds die. Fortunately, the nest had fallen on two of the baby birds and I was able to use a paper plate and soft tongs to put the spiked nest upright on the plate, and then I put the two babies birds trapped underneath it into the nest and the third one was just sitting on the porch, so I put it in the nest and then slid the nest with the paper plate underneath a shrub to protect them from weather as much as possible. I didn't physically touch the nest or babies, but used the tongs. The mommy bird, a Robin, fed them for another week or so and they all gradually flew out of the nest. They all survived! Anyway, I don't recommend these spikes if you are trying to deter birds...even the doves like sitting on them! I guess it gives them more secure footing!

I was living a nightmare with doves wanting to live in my garage door motor. They will try to make nest their, get dirty the cars and make noises all the time (day and night). Sick of that I got this product hoping they will get away. I wasn't sure what to expect they were very insistent on live in the motor of the garage. Guess what?????? they left!!!! they couldn't stay with all those spines. So yes I recommend this product 100%

Very easy to break apart. Size /thickness as needed. Using it on top of fence to keep neighbors cats from coming into our yard and making it a killing field. Used nano tape to put it on top so cats cat sit but squirrels can still run around. So far so good.

Easy to install and does the job. Not a single attempt at nest building since installation. Was the best option at a great price to take care of a seasonal nuisance.

Hard plastic and seem decently molded. Did nothing to stop squirrels, chipmunks, mice, or raccoons from climbing directly on them. The smaller rodents just kinda skim across the top. The raccoons just lumber their way across them.

Works but not all the time needed to be another row wide to work. Just a little short in width for std fence which allows raccoons to step on sides. I feel it needs another row to work all the time

Seit ich die Abwehrspikes angebracht habe sind die Tauben verschwunden. Habe auch nicht beobachtet, das die Tauben versuchen zu landen (wird von einigen als Tierquälerei bezeichnet) sie drehen schon vorher ab. Empfehlenswert. Die Spikes wurde mit einem Doppelklebeband befestigt - hält trotz der Hitze bombenfest.

En verdad disuaden esas puntas. Si algún animalito se aventura, saldrá bastante lastimado
