Works well and leaves no gaps!
Very easy to open and close. Takes a little bit of force to close because it locks in place when you step on it. Assembly took about an hour and didnโt cause any issues. Light weight and sturdy high grade aluminum material. Length is good for a number of applications, from in house to garage attics. Good product

Decent attic ladder, would buy again but...
The instructions are a bit weak. It comes with the required hardware to mount, including lag bolts and pre-drilled holes to install them. The issue is that in order to have access to most of the pre-drilled holes you have to deploy the ladder. That presents a bit of a problem since the ladder isn't mounted to anything. I assume they included the 3" wood screws to "temporarily" attach the unit so you can deploy the ladder so you have access to the pre-drilled holes for the lag bolts. That's what I did anyway, and it worked. Don't look for instructions to do any of this in the supplied instruction manual though... The other thing I'm not thrilled about is that the hatch door isn't flush with the frame. The hatch door extends down past the frame the thickness of the hatch door which makes trimming it out less than ideal. Mine is in the garage, so I don't really care if it's not perfect, but if it were in my house I would have had to develop a plan on how to make the hatch door flush and have something to attach trim to. Of course without knowing this in advanced would be a problem because I would likely have already have cut out too much sheetrock and then it's kinda too late. I guess what I'm saying is take your time, look over how the assembly is constructed and plan your project before taking out your saw, and don't look for any help from the instructions that come with the unit.
