I use it to check charge in my lipos when out in the field flying, works with all my batteries from 1s to 6s and gives a good true indication of charge, requires no internal battery to function

This is ideal for checking the charge state of LiPo packs. It's powered by the battery you're testing, and turns on within a second of connecting it to give you a pack voltage and charge percentage. You can press a button to show the maximum cell difference, and to cycle through the individual cell voltages. Supposedly it has a balancing feature too, but i've not tried using that as my charger will do a far better job.The reported voltages are within 0.01v of what my multimeter measures, so i'm happy with the accuracy of it.It's invaluable if you regularly use a balance board to bulk charge batteries, since it lets you very quickly sort your collection into sets that are all at a similar voltage before paralleling them upMy only complaint is that the JST connector on it fouls the plastic case very slightly which makes plugging a battery in a tiny bit more fiddly than it needs to be

Excellent product does the job well. I have one on my 7 cell solar pack. Gives the voltage of each cell and a total. Also min and max cell with % of out of balance.It does get hot while balanceing and the screen goes black. So I just stop the balance and it returns to normal.

Bought this to monitor discharge state of LiPo battery. Unfortunately the unit doesn't constantly check the state of the battery, but displays voltage from the last time the button was pressed. Unit was happily telling me that my battery was at 16.4 volts when it was at 12.2.Unit is badly made - display isn't even square on to the case.Out of the box it is very difficult to connect the battery monitor plug as the contacts on the unit are too close to the case.

Bought to check my lipo batteries both before and after use. Excellent quality.

Looks the biz but I cannot use it until I locate a cable that plugs into it and my DJI battery. That's why I give it 2 stars. Will upgrade this when I have located a connector cable and used it as intended.
