Givi BF11 Tank Mount Lock Bags

It is described as "tanklock tank ring", however it is only a horseshoe shaped piece of metal to secure the "tankring" to the fuel filler cap. Also the price is high for what it is. A handy man with a plasma cutter could easily fashion this. Anyway my client is happy to pay as the Givi tankbag is necessary and cost a lot to buy initially... the tankring is supplied inside the bag when you buy it. On some bike filler caps the ring may need some slight modifications to fit properly. All in all, a good fit.

I like that the bag never touches the tank (prevents scratching the paint).

Does the job but SOOO expensive for what it actually is! Wish the bolts were TORX head to match the others on the GS.

Like other reviewer's I was perhaps being bit nieve, in expecting the complete fitting to attach a tank bag. All you get is a half moon piece of metal with four holes in it! But, having said that it fits perfectly on my bike. I ordered the actual tank bag online from another website and, it came complete with the plastic 'clamp ring'. So no problems there. I suppose the only downside is that you are paying what seems a relatively lot of the money for a stampede out bit of metal, that probably cost about 50p. Ah well, we live and learn. 😞. Just one more thing, if I was still working, I could have knocked one of these up in half an hour!

This fits the Multistrada V4. Be aware you will need to trim a little off the original plastic mounting ring that this plate holds in place.

Had the mounting ring but was missing the the actual tank bag locking ring. Very very poor The description and the picture of the item show, the plastic ring for locating the tank bag too. This is NOT included in the item, just a piece of metal in a horse shoe shape and 4 screws. You need to spend an ADDITIONAL £20 on the plastic ring as well.

Der Adapter ist wirklich absolut problemlos zu installieren. Ich brauchte ihn für eine BMW R1200 GS LC, BJ 2014. Zur Installation muss man lediglich die vorderen 4 Schrauben am Tankeinfüllstutzen rausdrehen, den GIVI Kunststoffring, der beim Tankrucksack dabei war und den Adapter festschrauben - das war's. Man muss die Originalschrauben gegen die mitgelieferten, etwas längeren Schrauben, ersetzen. Das Ganze dauert kaum 2 Minuten, dann kann man den GIVI Tankrucksatz befestigen (in meinem Fall ein ST602). Dieser rastet problemlos in der Halterung ein und sitzt bombenfest. Mit einem Zug an der Rucksackentriegelung ist der Rucksack wieder frei. Das Gute ist, dass der Tankrucksack den Tank nicht berührt, sondern ein paar Millimeter darüber "schwebt". Dadurch kann die Tanklackierung nicht zerkratzt werden. Eine Superlösung! Man kann sich zwar darüber streiten, ob der Preis für ein gestanztes Stück Blech mit 4 Schrauben gerechtfertigt ist (eher nicht), aber weil die Lösung so perfekt funktioniert, gebe ich trotzdem die volle Punktzahl.
