Having to knowingly wait longer than my usual Amazon next day delivery, I was not disappointed! Brush arrived appropriately packed and is an absolute dream to work with. I’m a fairly novice watercolour artist, been painting about 18 months and took the punt on this brush with the cost and little experience. It’s bigger than I thought, I think that’s because it’s a Quill. I had read previous reviews about the wires poking out; it’s seems they have rectified the issue, mine is sealed down. Comes from the US, but even with postage is a least as good as similar UK offerings and less expensive. Just soak in cold water for a few minutes to get out the hair stiffening and it is good to go. Also it did not shed any hairs at the beginning like other similar more expensive mop brushes. A good buy.

I purchased this brush for 12 year old Grandaughter to introduce her to really nice brushes! We paint on face time together whilst locked down and when asked what was the new brush like she replied "it keeps scratching my hands with the metal pieces that stick up." I was mortified as giving a 12 year old a brush of this price did not expect to hear that it had failed taking it out of the package! Anyway holding the very end of the brush she produced some nice work and loved the fact it held so much water and covered so much paper in one go and was great to use but on cleaning it again scratched herself. Not good for the price and I feel dangerous. My Husband is going to have a go at flatenning the sticky up bits and filing them - in normal circumstances we would return it but we are both 'shielded'. Not much more I can say other than very disappointed.

A vast improvement in my painted trees and flowers. This brush is wonderful.

Einfach klasse, mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. Hält viel Wasser, gibt gleichmäßig ab und lässt sich gut führen. :-)

WoW what a great brush! While this is a bit softer than the Princeton Aqua Elite Quill it holds a ton of water and pigment and releases it smoothly and evenly. It also holds a point and paints a fine line. That's amazing for a number 6 Quill. This is an amazing brush.
