Good buy
Good strong magnet and a good kit. Bought to amuse great grandson as he's getting bored during school holidays. Lucky to have an abundance of shallow streams nearby.

Starter kit
Great starter kit don't expect a professional type kit the magnet has reasonable pull for its size grappling hook is small but is well made. Good value

A kiddies starter kit at best.
This magnet fishing kit arrived today and I was extremely disappointed when I opened the box. The magnet has very little pulling power, it is very weak and could hardly pick up items of cutlery from the kitchen floor unless it was almost touching them. I've been magnet fishing with friends and this magnet certainly won't attract the many items that I have seen recovered previously. It will have little chance of attracting metallic items from the mud of a riverbed. Furthermore, the grappling hook is very small and is far too light to be thrown any distance, the gloves are of poor quality too. I expected far better quality for the price

Just like described
Only used it once and so far this thing is a beast I would recommend it to anyone wanting to do some fishing this thing is big and it is strong no doubt what ever you do don't stick it on something that is flat and metal it took two people to get it off
