is it just me or is the blowpipe supposed to stray spit all over my fave when i blow into it?

Angus your question made me chuckle. 😆😆😆😆😆 its not suppose to do that. It's suppose to create sound when you blow into the pipe. Yes spit will accumulate that's why a little drain is provided which you need to clean after every use. Why it's spraying spit all over your face ... could it be that your lips is not air tight around the mouthpiece. Mine has not done that to me yet😆😆😆😆😆😆.

I have been looking at the suzuki pro 37. amazon doesn't have one at the moment. this one is quite a bit cheaper. tempted - but is it as good?

Hi. I bought this Yamaha one quite a while back and was very pleased with its playing and general build quality. I think I looked at the Suzuki and did a lot of research into which was better and went for this one. Matches my Nord colour too :)

Yes. It comes with a hard plastic case that colour matches the instrument. The case has spaces in the lid for the mouthpiece and extension pipe. There is enough room to fold a cloth over the top of the instrument as well. Useful for cleaning and drying it after draining.
