Baby Faces (Look Baby! Books)

Bought for my mixed-race granddaughter- she loves it!

All 3 of my children absolutely LOVED this book. I now buy it for any of my friends who have new babies and everyone loves it. My babies honestly spent hours looking at this book. This was the first book my eldest read aloud to us (the sounds and noises). Best book ever!

My baby daughter loves imitating the faces. We also talk about the different expressions and she is specifically making sure that the sad baby who is crying in the book, gets a hug and kiss each time we get to the page.

Eleven month old twins were particularly drawn to the baby faces, each twin having his own particular favourite.The sturdy book easily stood up to the rough treatment.

Baby loves this book. Always laughs at the faces and asks us to do them. A winner!

I was excited to try this book because I love the idea of realistic images of children—but sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The faces were extremely zoomed-in, taking up entire pages in a way that felt a bit overwhelming, even for my toddler. The book is also very short, with just a few pages and minimal content. – The concept is nice, but poorly executed – Price felt too high for what you get – My child lost interest quickly Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this unless the book is significantly discounted. There are better options out there that show diverse, realistic child expressions in a more engaging and balanced way.

Das Buch hat nicht viele Seiten, aber für unsere Kleine (fast 2 Jahre alt) sind die aufgedruckten Gesichter total spannend und sie blättert mindestens einmal am Tag durch die verschiedenen Emotionen. Sie macht auch einige davon schon nach. Uns war wichtig, dass “echte“ Kinder abgebildet sind und keine gezeichneten. Wir sind also sehr zufrieden mit dem kleinen Büchlein.

Libro muy sencillo, pero que le encanta a los niños

I expected more than 7 baby faces (only 2 of which were happy). The listing does mention the size of the book, so I should've known it is only palm size. But the faces on the page are nice and big. Baby likes it, but it won't keep him entertained for long.
