In the description, it says this rabbit is 17.8 inches! That surely isn't correct based on the usual size of Schleich animals. What is the actual size?

for sure it's not 17.8 inches in any direction. maybe they meant to say "1.78". big difference. amazon customer service gave me a refund. so I'm happy.

what are the dimensions of this figurine? it says 17.8 inches but then it also says it's a choking hazard

Product Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.7 x 1 inch (W x D x H)

Is it too big for Barbie ?

Scale wise, it is a bit bigger if you compare to a barbie toy. However, this toy rabbit is just like a fully-grown or over-grown animal to a barbie toy but not monster-sized animal though. Hope this helps.
