Works great. Easy to set

After almost 30 years, my outdoor automatic timer died. I bought this because it said "easy to program". That is correct. It's built very well, and it took less than a minute to program. So far, it's working perfectly. My Christmas lights go on at 4:30, and off at 10:30.

Pretty happy with this. Never failed in rain and snow. I have other uses in mind throughout the year. Timer, manual off and on, and can easily set to darkness to power on what you want. Highly recommend.

Found it pretty easy to program without having to look at the instructions, and so far it's keeping time well, and isn't doing anything weird like coming on/off at irregular times, running hot, making weird noises (a slight click when it comes on/off but that's it), etc. To be fair, I've been using it indoors, and only for a few days, with a pretty light load attached, so who knows, but I'll update my review if there's any funny business. I've seen a few reviews mention that you have to use their preset times, and can't set your own - I'm guessing that's a different version, as this one definitely let's you program a custom on/off time using the "My On Time" and "My Off Time" buttons shown above, in addition to the presets. I did find it a little irritating that once you program the "My On Time" and set it, the unit will automatically shut iself off and won't come on until that time, but that's easily worked around. Overall I like it. It isn't as full-featured as some of the more expensive timers out there, but so far it's been pretty good for the price.

This is THE BEST light timer. This purchase was to add to the three I already own. Supper easy arrow up or down to change time. Push a button to use the logical presets or add a custom timeframe-also super easy to do with arrows to adjust the time easily & quickly.

Perfect for Christmas light

The product seems fairly straightforward, and the instructions are limited, but simple. This, however, did not keep me from not being able to troubleshoot why my lights weren't turning on after I had set the timers as stated in the instructions. I went to the website to see if they had troubleshooting help, and there were nothing for this item. I then decided to send a support request through their contact form, only to be then told to call their customer support. I work in technical support. I know that most devices have a few standard troubleshooting steps for basic issues, mostly being undocumented issues that assume specific use that not all customers share. This is why FAQs and a basic troubleshooting document is included for so many items (think about it, loads of consumer appliances have this, toasters, blenders, washing machines, dishwashers, etc. all have this in their manuals.) Luckily, I was able to figure it out on my own, but the lack of documentation (in this case, the information to set the "ON" time for after the current time as registered on the device) for basic troubleshooting was disappointing.

Tired of buying timers where you have to google the instructions? Not anymore. The best quality of this product is that it is so easy to set with a TIME ON and TIME OFF feature. There's even a battery within should you disconnect the timer for a few minutes. I will no longer buy Noma timers - honestly, they are junk. Overpriced and impossible to figure. Spend a few more bucks and buy something that you won't have to buy again in a year. Great for outdoor use in rainy weather. I hope this review was helpful to you.

Great and simple to use timer. Love that it expands the outlet as well. Very easy to set it up and put our outdoor lights on a timer.
