Plug and play, and there are no shenanigans with the audio and video signals being separated. In terms of bringing your Wii over to a friend's house, this really simplifies the process and broadens your system's compatibility with modern displays.

Best of the Three Brands I have tried.
This is the next best thing to an up-scaler. I have tried two other brands and this one comes in lead for me. Clear crisp picture for what it is, and I don't notice any delay. The other two I tried sell under the titles "Wii to HDMI Adapter Cable [1080P/720P] Picture Quality Upscaler Resolution Enhancer " and "GANA Wii to HDMI Converter Adapter with Hdmi Cable Connect Wii Console to HDMI "; the first being horrible, the second nearly as good as this one, but not quite.

Works with new LG C4 65" TV
Worked perfectly, right out of the box. Just wish it was a bit lower in price for what you get

Excellent HDMI Adapter
I opened the adapter, plugged in a new HDMI cable to my TV and Wii, and this worked great with my Samsung 55" TV! No hassle. Tip after some research about Wii Resolution - this enables you to use 480p resolution in your Wii's display settings, which made a significant improvement in readability and clarity when playing Twilight Princess. It was near unplayable previously using the 480i setting. Thank you for giving our Wii some more life!

Excellent.
I replaced my "Portholic" Wii2HDMI adapter with this. It had started to flicker (black screen for 1-3 seconds) This adapter has a darker image output than the "Portholic" but doesn't flicker. Trade-off I suppose. Whomever wrote that it doesn't support 16:9 they probably have their console set to 4:3 This thing works great.

Supports 480p
This is the one you want. All the other wii2hdmi type solutions I’ve tried are actual garbage in comparison. This one outputs 480p correctly in widescreen and standard. It doesn’t even require an external power source. Works with both Wii and WiiU(idk why you wouldn’t just use the built in but it works lol).

Works Great, Includes Sound via HDMI!
Works easy, jut plug it in and go. And they stand behind their product! I've bought three (for friends and I) and found out after return period that one was defective (cut out and in). I contacted them and they arranged for a replacement, and even covered the return shipping. Great Customer Service!
