Great price for a couple of shuckers
Just what I needed to send in advance of a gift of oysters to the midwest. I assumed no one in Chicago keeps oyster shuckers. They were super happy to have 2 as the couple both wanted to try shucking. Great price for a set of 2 quality knives and gloves. I hope they enjoyed a taste of the Gulf. The knives made eating oyster interactive and fun. They said the oysters popped open easily with the knives.

Collecting Oysters
Used these this past weekend when collecting oysters and shucking them on the beach. Gloves helped a lot especially holding the oysters that had barnacles on them. Knives were good although by the end of the day they seemed to move in the handle and starting to get loose. I probably shucked 40+ oysters. I feel like it may last one more day at the beach.

The knife isn’t very good
The gloves are okay but I was only able to get one oyster shucked with this knife. The blade is very dull and not sturdy enough. You’re better off using a flathead screwdriver to shuck oysters
