This is my third Lamy fountain pen in a different colour and I absolutely love all of them. The design is great, is easy to hold, and the writing experience and quality are outstanding considering the price. The sharp of the nib and the ink flow are definitely something to consider if you like this. Personally, I would highly recommend it!

Brilliant pen that writes smoothly, the version I have got has a broad nip that glides across the paper making scratchy nibs a thing of the past. Highly recommended for learning or improving your hand writing. The pen is made out of tough transparent plastic - although I'm slightly amused they have still left the two holes inthe side so you can see how much ink you have left. Lamy cartridges aren't the cheapest - but they are bigger than most - and Amazon is better value than the high street here. If you want a broad, roundhand nib, solid contruction and smooth flowing, this is about as good as it gets at this price point.

I always use the bold nib becuase it gives a better writing experience. No scratching on paper like some other fountain pens. No leaking ink either.

The first was a gift, the second because I wanted one with a broad nib and this one just because I wanted another one because I loved them so much, one in each place of writing. The first now has a broad nib, which I might add is very easy to install with the help of the cap. Ink that flows every time you pick up, nice colours to play with and extremely well priced. I wish I had found a Lamy fountain pen years ago, would have saved me a lot of money. Nothing to dislike really, if you want to spend big bucks, there's a Lamy for that.
