Mopeka Tank Check Wireless LED Display for Pro Check & Universal Sensors

Works great, very accurate, easy to install, good item,

Really like this product. Took the time to clean the base of the propane tanks before mounting the sensors. System is relatively accurate but not exact. knowing the approximate level of the tanks is good enough for me and is so much nicer that other methods of level identification. Would recommend to others.

We mounted this display inside our trailer and the bluetooth connection works. We can check our two 20# tanks by the push of a button. This product also comes with an app for your android or iPhone which is much more precise - you can check tank levels when you're in the truck on the road. I would suggest that you watch the video and download the app for your phone before doing the initial setup.

I installed this in my travel trailer so I could monitor the gas levels in my two forward-mounted tanks. Synchronizing the Mopeka Tank Check LED Gauge Display is easy enough, but has to be done before the sensors are mounted to the tank. Operating the gauge is easy - there is only one button to push to check the level for each tank. My disappointment comes from the fact that it seems to take a long time to communicate with the tank and report the level. The way it works is the gauge communicates with the sensor mounted on the bottom of the tank. To save batteries it only shows the reading for a short period. Sometimes I get tired of waiting for the reading to show up and look away, and by the time I look back the reading is gone.

After 3 years of guessing how much propane I had and removing and taking tanks to be filled partially full I bought this LED indicator along with the universal magnetic sensors (on separate orders). First I downloaded the app, then I installed the sensors and sync'd the app and the indicator. Super easy, both worked perfectly and read within seconds, IMO they both match (see the pics). The price was very reasonable and the order was delivered quickly (just in time for an upcoming trip). I mounted the indicator using command strips. I just to be sure everything was accurate I swapped the sensors and had the same results. Be sure you read the instructions and you should not have any issues. The only thing of concern is the sensors small magnets, time will tell if they hold up and don't slip.

This actual part is probably better then my mark, but the readers it connects to are garbage. Last season I had one of the censors die in less then a month. Getting a replacement one was a pain. I put new batteries in them this winter season and now they are both dead. If it was just one I would think I got a faulty one but 3 in less then a year is bad quality. As far as this product it takes it a bit to actually read the tanks. I will be looking for a different company because if one of my 40lb propane tanks runs out it means my water heater will freeze, crack and I am out $800, plus water line damage.

Works great for a short while then seems to get worse and worse until you no longer trust the product.

A very helpful device if it keeps working.

We purchased the Mopeka Tank Check LED wireless Gauge Display about a year ago and are very happy with it. When you set it up make sure to set the meter to the proper tank size and it will work great . It is definitely not as accurate as the phone app but still works for a quick reference when your phone is not available. My wife uses it a lot more than I do as she has not downloaded the Mopeka app to check the sensor levels on her phone . We did have to change the battery at about the one year mark but that is really simple and it takes a common 2032 coin style battery. Set up and mounting the monitor takes about 5 minutes. We used the 3m removalable tape for mounting it, incase we ever want to relocate it. This really paid off when we sold our camper last year and swapped it to our new one in about 5 minutes again . I would definitely recommend this display gauge to anyone already using the Mopeka tank sensors.

Works pretty accurately with my refillable motorhome gas cylinder. Very happy with my purchase.

Theyre actually pretty accurate. Its convenient to be able to see the propane levels without having to go outside and shake the bottle around or pour water on it.

Excellent product

A friend of mine uses this gauge in his camper and I thought I would give it a try for poops and giggles. I can now walk into my cabin and not have to pull my phone out to see my propane tank level. I use 2 420lb "pigs" and have a sensor on one of them. The tanks are about 70' away through 3 walls from this gauge and it works just fine. I will have to pick up a second sensor now I guess. Great product.
