ergotec Bar Ends Touring

Arrived in good condition, I bought these for a better riding position. I get problems with my elbows and back occasionally on the longer run outs. Easy to fit, I had to take Two and half CM off my Handel bar grips to fit which is standard. You require a Five Mm key to fit which is very easy. These are a well made product and easy to change during a ride if you have to adjust. I like to sit high when out touring on my bike. I have a hybrid mountain bike but these are so well made you can use them for any bike. Best purchase I have made for my bike. Now to find a gel seat to help with the pounding my rear gets...

Easy to fit, only had to cut about 25mm of the grip ends, very adjustable so you can get into a very comfortable riding position. I fitted these to my mountain bike as I currently have it fitted to a turbo trainer through the worst of the winter, as the back wheel is raied up quite a bit on the trainer if forces your body forward and puts extra weight on your risks, these lift you back up to a much more comfortable riding position. I will be keeping them on once I get back on the road, ideal for longer journeys, only concern is how long the soft foam rubber grips will last.

If they had used the connector that holds the extension bar to the elbow handlebar connection. At both end. This would be worth the price truly Plus be a more amazing product. As per another review (the one that convinced on purchase) you'll need to wrap them with a better handlebar tape solution. (as a humorous gesture ONLY!) ...the foam they use should he used in the dessert as it never lets go of moisture!!! Love these. Hope they don't ever come off mid ride, because that would be deadly, but so far so good. Big improvement in comfort for me. Both comfortable sponge (could be replaced if needed) but also riding angle of course. ALSO... for me, they dampen the vibration in the road, because they add just a touch of flexibility between the road and the hand.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Delighted with these touring bar ends. As a previous reviewer noted as a precaution before embarking on a long journey I would recommend removing the plastic end caps and tightening hidden bolts with an Allen key. Otherwise we found as supplied they have a tendency to work loose, it's an easy fix though.

Really like these bar ends which fit the ends of mountain bike bars comfortably and securely. I like that they can be adjusted to any angle. I like the padding. The only disappointment is that the foam padding on the bars is not very durable. After 2 uses the foam is starting to peel off. That should be addressed and corrected as otherwise a great product.

These are really good. I thought these were alot of money at £36 so i made the mistake of buying cheaper ones that were terrible and unsafe so unuseable, these are fully adjustable so you can have them any way possible, they are really stable dont move at all, they are really comfy, look good too. Only downside for me is my bar-end mirror no longer fits. Picture dont really show it but the top handle part is as wide as normal handle bar grip

I got these to make my hybrid bike more of a touring style. I find that even though it's a hybrid I still tend to lean all my pressure onto my hands and gave developed what I believe is cyclists palsy, particularly in my right hand, which results in a numb feeling that is very uncomfortable and can last for days. These have much lessened that by being able to change the position of my hands to make them much higher, make my torso more upright and take the pressure off my hands. I have padded cycling gloves too but they barely made any difference I found. These make all the difference and are fully adjustable to your preference 360 degrees and thus I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Nach mehreren Versuchen die idealen Lenkerhörner zu finden habe ich mich für diese von Ergotec entschieden. Diese sind einfach zu montieren und sind ideal und leicht zu platzieren wie es gerade braucht wird. Sind weich gepolstertund gut geiffig. Als Fahrradpendler, 25km einfach, ist so ein Komfort unverzichtbar.

Tengo una bici plegable de 20" que se me quedaba demasido estrecho el manillar. Ya los he usado varias veces y me han desaparecido las molestias en manos, muñecas y hombros a la hora de sujetar el manillar. Puedes cambiar de postura y los acoples se montan en unos pocos minutos. Recomendables.

Aussitôt livré, aussitôt monté et vraiment heureux, très facile et rapide a monté, une bonne tenue en main et confortable avec sa mousse, je peu me tenir un peu plus droit sur mon VVT lorsque mon trajet se fait sur route et est un peu long. Produit de qualité rien a dire.

Queste prolunghe sono fatte veramente bene, anche se per il prezzo che hanno avrebbero dovuto avere delle rifiniture maggiori come i tappi in colore che ho applicato io stampandoli in 3D al posto dei tappi in plastica che vengono forniti, inutili perché la gommapiuma con la pressione delle mani tende a sbordare con un effetto estetico brutto. Credo che il giusto prezzo sia poco più di 25 Euro. Io purtroppo ne avevo bisogno causa mal di schiena e ho dovuto spendere questa piccola fortuna, spero che Amazon aggiusti il tiro. Per il resto le consiglio al 100%, la schiena ringrazia.
