Great for my apartment
I'm not allowed to use charcoal or gas in my condo, and this grill doesn't smoke very much, so it's perfect for me. I didnt buy any adapter and it works fine. None of the components get too hot, and frankly i wish the burner got a little hotter. Having said that, it cooks perfectly and is a fun way to cook dinner. Note: it's important to fill the lower tray with water to prevent flare ups. When you are ready to cook, place the empty tray on the bottom shelf under the burner, then fill with water by pouring through the gaps in the burner. Refill as needed. I love this thing! Edit, i translated the japanese instructions to English. Enjoy!
