Material conditioner
Brilliant stuff. No sticky or flacky. I used it to revive material that had lain folded in a trunk for 47 years. It brought it back to life and I made it into a patchwork quilt.

Smells good
I use this for patchwork projects. Easy to use. Seems to be effective.

The best
As the name suggest it is the best. Especially good for pressing quilting products, thank you.

Starch alternative for quilters
Very good for flattening seams and easing to size.

Disappointed.
I bought this to help cut a pattern from silk fabric. It was ok but the description states that it doesn’t drip when it does. I was very worried about marking the fabric but the product washed out easily. I’ve marked it down because I chose this particular brand on that one feature. If you’re forewarned you might not be so disappointed.

Works but expensive
Yes this works, it’s unscented thank goodness but so very expensive , works no better than cheap laundry spray by dr Beckmann, also that smells a lot so it’s got the edge there! I wouldn’t buy again though due to price.

Surprised
I've seen this advertised and demonstrated on several media and sales tv stations, thought it was overpriced and over hyped! But I can honestly say for someone like me who sews it's pretty good. Use it before cutting fabric then iron amazed if actually greatly reduced marks from folding even in fat quarters, it also seems to make the fabric more stable (It's the only way I can describe it) Its improved my quilting and applique. Would I recommend Mary Ellen's best press? If you want to do lots of sewing of quilts and applique then Yes, even tried it on one of my husband's shirts really surprised and unlike spray starch no residue and no starchy smell.
