Julep When Pencil Met Gel Sharpenable Longwear Gel Eyeliner Pencil (Blackest Black) High-Performance, Waterproof, Transfer & Smudge Proof Eyeliner

I have half a dozen of these now, they are easy to use, soft on the lid, draw smooth no snagging and last all day. They fix well, hold their colour and come off easily at the end of the day. I'm a 50 something woman with post menopausal skin, lines and a bit of drying around the eyes. The darker colours hold true for longer, the shimmer colours are lovely but do tend to fade after about 16hrs. The gold one tends to shed a bit but its a nice look and you can layer the shimmer colours over the darker ones after setting time, which gives it a nice look which lasts! A bit pricey for what they are but comparable to other brands. If you work in a hot busy environment like me - ward based - they are worth a go. They come singly, no sharper included, that's extra and IS pricey for what it is.

I only use this liner in blackest black. Its great for colour, staying power & value. Wouldnt swap

I was pleased with this pencil in that it was easy to apply and did stay put, so no more panda eyes. Problem is that because it's so soft it needs sharpening after every couple of applications and it's not that easy to sharpen. the first time the lead came off completely. To give it benefit of the doubt I've bought a new, supposedly top quality sharpener but I'm not sure how long it will last if I've got to sharpen it every other day it could work out expensive.

Lovely colour and super smooth application. But definitely not waterproof and definitely not smudge proof.

I don't often buy eye pencils as they drag on skin and then disappears when my eyes water, as I seem to react to lots of make up. But this feels quality, more like a very soft crayon, not waxy but glides on so soft can barely feel it and is not sticky. Colour looks gorgeous but not glittery and best of all it stays on all day even if my eyes water, but comes off easily with elemis make up remover. Highly recommend, especially if you're on wrong side of fifty and nothing stays!

Worst eyeliner I’ve ever used. It smudges, gets cakey so quickly that my entire eye area ends up looking black. The ads are a complete lie

First I thought I love it . Nice shiny colour much cheaper than Beckham . then , every time I wear it , it doesn’t stay and particles go into my eyes and eyes turn red and painful .

I have been using this pencil in Smoky Plum for a few years now, love the colour, glides over the eye area without pulling, good price, I have slightly oily skin around the eyes so use a little concealer just to secure the colour stays put, but on normal skin your probably fine.

These are hands-down the best eyeliners I have used in quite some time. I have tried super cheap, drugstore pencils, expensive name brands that cost $30-$40 for a pencil, and these are amazing. They are easy to sharpen, which I like, I like a very sharp point, and they go on easily, but they are not so soft that they don't apply precisely. They are the perfect mix of soft/hard. Very easy to glide on my eyelids, and you have around 5-8 seconds to smudge it or clean up smears, or I use my finger nail to swipe up the liner at the end of my lashes. After that time, the eyeliner stays put, it will not budge. It is amazing, it doesn't smear off, it doesn't bleed out under my eyes or on my eyelids (I have always gotten eyeliner on my eyelids by end of day. I must have oily eyelids, not gross, but very moisturized or something). This comes off easily with Micellar water and I wash with face wash. I purchased the dark brown (which is very dark brown, nearly black), the glittery brown (so pretty and not as harsh as the dark brown, the clay (pretty light, but still pretty) and the dark green (haven't worn yet but it's pretty). These are such a great deal and I expect them to last 6-8 months, depending on how much you use them. I know some people don't like to sharpen their eyeliners, but I do. It's the only way to get a precise point and create thin lines, in my opinion. Get a good sharpener. :)

Julep eyeliners some of the best around. Stays on my water line all day and sometimes into the next day. Goes on very easy. Color is as described. I have bought many of these.
