Tsukune, Moka and the rest of the gang return for another year at Yokai Academy - where the supernatural student body rules the school! Tsukune's a real slacker in the human world, but in the monster realm he scores an A+ as a high school heartthrob. Keeping up with a hellacious bunch of hot demon girls has its perks, but Moka's bratty little sister could burst the love bubble. His pain is her pleasure - and if she has her way, Tsukune can kiss Moka's sweet side goodbye. Family values take new meaning when a MILF fight breaks out on campus, too. So forget what you know about home-economics class, because these ghouls gone wild always cook up trouble! Review: Wonderful. - If you enjoy the books then you will enjoy this. The series is good because of course it brings the characters to life but it's just plain entertainment, romance and funny ooh-ere moments that can have you holding your breath. The series does have a lot of saucy moments but so do the books so that adds to the cheekiness of this lovable show. Review: panties on parade - More of the same fun for this second Rosario collection. Capu2 features the 'not hiding it' frequent pantie shots and harem insanity of the first series and adds a couple of new faces into the mix. Set aside the sexy stuff and look for a story and you find a little bit more of the storyline from the first series but only a little bit more. This isn't really about the story though is it.. Each episode ends in typical fashion with the rosary removal and the inner vampire emergence. Then the obligatory panties and a bite on the neck. Have fun.

Brilliantly funny!
Like Rosario + Vampire season 1, Capu2 is just awkwardly funny. With the Girls still after Tsukune Aono at Yokai academy, the chaos continues with the introduction of new characters. Some of these episodes are a bit more serious/sadder than those in season 1, but to make up for that some are more cringe worthy funnier than season 1 (my favourite was episode 7 which had me tears of laughter). If you liked season 1 then you'll enjoy Capu2 as well. Lets hope they make Capu3. N.B. This anime is different in from the manga in several ways, but this season was made before the completion of the second series of the manga, and is based upon what Akihisa Ikeda originally intended for season 2, but later changed the plot during the development process.

Fanservice & Monsters
'Rosario+Vampire Capu2' tells the story of Tsukune Aono's second year at Yokai Academy. Tsukune has been getting used to being the only human at a school for monsters but his second year is complicated by the freshman vampire Kokoa Shuzen, Moka's younger sister who is obsessed with bringing out the true Moka. 'Capu2' is the second season of the 'Rosario+Vampire' anime and it isn't as good as the previous series and is nowhere near as good as the original manga. The thirteen episodes in this series go almost totally their own way, ignoring the manga and increasing the amount of fanservice from the already high level of the first series. Having said this, there are a few parts of the series that draw inspiration from the manga (Kokoa's introduction is based on the first chapter of Season two of the manga, episode seven is based on the last chapter of the first manga season and episode eleven is very loosely based on the final arc of that season) but these are few and far between and even then they have been changed considerably from their original version. The season does finally see the introduction of the Ghoul transformation in the final episode but this isn't handled very well and comes off as a bit of a Deus ex Machina which is a shame as it is an important part of the manga. On the plus side some of the humour added in this adaption is generally quite good, even if it can be somewhat slapstick in places. The second season of the manga increased the action and seriousness of the series but this second season goes in the opposite direction being a lot lighter than the manga ever was. The animation is reasonably good and the English dub is as good as the previous season with Kira Vincent-Davis being reasonably good as Kokoa (the Japanese is included of course but I didn't watch it so I cannot comment on it). I will admit that my view of this anime is coloured by the fact that the original manga is a favourite of mine and this series doesn't do it justice. Overall I feel that being generous, I would give 'Capu2' three stars at best.
