I love the holster design, but it would be better if the company extended out the screw for the magnet as I normally keep a comp on my threaded barrel.

This is a very good holster - love that it accepts basically any light and does not interfere with optics. PROs: The quality and durability of the holster seem very good. Retention is solid and very quick and natural to disengage. Holster adjusts with just two screws to accommodate just about any light setup. The magnet retention is actually pretty slick - though a little strong. A little Adrenaline and you won't notice. Also there's plenty of room for optics! CONs: The description doesn't really mention how the retention and magnet work. It works well BUT, it will only work with a stock length barrel. I have a compensated barrel and the magnet setup directly engages the barrel at the stock depth. There is not adjustment for a longer barrel. I know, that won't affect 99% of you. Summary: If you have a stock barrel and any type of light or might eventually change your light setup, then get this universal holster because it will eat any light you throw at it, has great retention, and will last a lifetime.

This holster IS very well designed. Almost EVERYTHING you might think should be adjustable IS. Once your firearm adjustment is dialed in (which comes pretty darn close out of the box - I only had to adjust the width to accommodate the TLR - 8G light) the fit is great. The “quick release” thumb button (which also actively releases the but plate lock if you engage it) works very well. The only draw back I found was the If you use the spacer / click adjustment disc (which is needed with the double spare mag attachment) the packaged 10/32 screws are NOT long enough to attach the holster. Maybe they were just not sent with the mag attachment. Fortunately I keep random hardware around which as you can see from the attached photos I had to cut down two screws I had laying around. They need to have about 7/8” exposed threads. A full 1” might penetrate the firearm carriage and gouge the slide finish or frame. IF you purchase and need to supplement screws which you must cut down make SURE you place a “chaser” nut on the screw above your cut so you can “chase the threads” by taking it off. If not you will most likely not get the cut threads to start in a nut. If you’re handy or worked in the trades you already know this trick. I’ve yet to train with this rig but with a dozen dry draws I’m pretty sure this was a solid purchase. So far I really recommend it. The small hardware issue was worth it.

My first order was defective. The screws could not screw into the holes provided. Once I got them in the screw head striped. I sent it back as defective and they quickly sent me a new replacement. When I got the replacement, I saw the holes were threaded with inserts. The new holster works great. Fits most of my guns with lights. SAR9USA 9mm, Glock 19, 17 9mm and even a Taurus TX22. This holster is adjustable for different heights and widths. I do recommend you don't get the additional Magazine attachment. It's too much and it's in the way. The holster only weights 10 oz with the standard paddle. One of my problems finding a holster is that I'm left-handed. This holster has many options on how to wear it. This is the best universal OWB holster to fit most guns with lights. I rate this item with 5 stars.
