This is a great deal on one of the very best toffee's ever!! 5.5 pounds for $40 usd!!! Amazing price!! These compare with Toffee Pennies by Quality Street. I love those but I can’t get them in this country except with a mix of other candies I don’t want. I was referred to Walkers and I faintly remembered my English born mother-in-law having these at Christmas and everyone was crazy about them. There’s something about English Toffee that just can’t be beat! This is top shelf Firm Chewy English Toffee. Exactly what I wanted. I just opened the package and already ate 8. They’re just as delicious as I remembered. Im extremely happy with my purchase!!

Great candy, and price. The toffee tasted fine to me. I had read all the negative comments posted and do not agree with any of them. I used these candies to put into small containers, along with other good quality candy, for our yearly family reunion. This reunion is at the end of July and I know these toffees will be a great hit and people will asking me where I got them. I'll be sure to let them know they can get them thru Amazon. :) Update from July 25, 2023: As mentioned above, I buy these candies for our yearly family reunion. Each year they cost more and more, but worth it. Everyone loves them! Bought two 5.5 pound bags, for a little under 97 dollars. Used to be half of that about three years ago. They are very creamy, chewy but not too hard. I highly recommend them. :)

I really should NOT write a good review, and it's not the taste, nor the freshness, nor the size or stickiness (and I wear a partial denture; never gets stuck to them), none of that. The addictiveness though, I open the bag and I have half a dozen stuffed in my mouth in minutes. Just crazy good stuff.

If there was 0 rating available, this candy would qualify. I hope that you have contacted the producer in England that their recent batch was way off what we have enjoyed for 3 years or more. The candy seemed gritty, like sand. There was not hardly any flavor. After trying about 4 pieces, each from different places in the bag, we found nothing that could be eaten. AND we cannot return to you so that you can understand why these are so BAD. I would like to order again but there's no way to be assured that this shipment was an abnormality. Does Amazon do any type of quality control on their suppliers?

I first discovered these delightful blobs of wonderfulness when I went to England in 2001. Then I forgot about them. Then my son brought some home from a little shop in Norcross, GA that sells imported yummies from the UK for homesick expatriates. For a couple of years we've been buying the small bags from the little shop, and slowly going broke. THEN!! I was browsing around Amazon, as one does, and found this Super Duper Giant Economy Size bag of these English bits of decadence!! I purchased them! I am slowly eating them (as they are so rich you only need a couple at a time)! And I SHALL REORDER WHEN I RUN OUT!!! Seriously, though, if you like caramel, the soft chewy kind that can pull the fillings right out of your head, try these instead. They're just firm enough to give some resistance, but once they soften up they slowly dissolve and you are never in danger of de-filling a tooth. BUY THESE NOW!!! You know you want to.

I love these things. Everyone I have ever given some to loves these things. They’re kind of expensive, but a nice treat when I feel like splurging. This batch was fresh and soft. Sometimes they’re not as soft, but they still taste delicious.

This is a great sized bag if you are creating favors or selling. They arrived Fresh and Chewy, Great wholesome flavor. No funky aftertaste, just a desire for the pure caramel taste! WoW!

This is my third time ordering. This time I am having a hard time wanting to eat them. So so soft you lose the taste. The first time they were hard and you needed to slowly eat them. The second time I ordered it was hit and miss. Some were so soft it was hard to enjoy the flavor. Others were the “normal” toffee a little hard but really good. So far this bag that I got last November is hardly even eaten. Super sweet and way too soft for a toffee. I am better off making my own. I hate to waste money.

Love this toffee. I bought it with Christmas in mind but I'm not sure it will last that long😉
