Does this contain cows milk proteins?

No this is amino acid based formula. For babies with severe cmpa. It’s the only one that worked for my baby and I believe it is meant to be the most palatable!

Is there a chance that the picture shown might be a old one? The one's that pharmacies currently sell look different to this one. Thanks

Is it similar to Neocate formulas?

We've used this for our baby who had a CMPA, its suitable for babies allergic to dairy but in our experience has a much more pleasant taste and it's the only formula our baby would take. Just be warned it's extremely expensive and hard to find a good consistent supply - often out of stock. Hope that helps!

exactly what it says on the tin

baby with allergy. bank holiday and we were due to run out of prescribed milk before drs reopened so this product with prime delivery saved the day

The taste

Unfortunately the baby would not drink it. It is really really awful taste. Because of that i cant tell if it works for us so will give 4stars not five. Will have to try some different one.
