These holders seem OK, and maybe I just gotta get used to them, however, they were difficult to leave on the grill while I was trying to turn my food with the skewers that I purchased separately. The skewers I purchased are a flat 1/4 inch wide skewer, so the sides of each of the slots was helpful and holding the skewer to keep it from spinning. However, keeping these upright was difficult because they kept wanting to fall over or maybe I just need to be better at moving the skewers in a more careful way when cooking. The only major con on these was the cleanup, when I had food dripping on them the stainless steel nature of these was not easy to clean, so I had some bacon fat that burned onto these holders. I will be more concerned with good functionality than good looks, but I do have some food stains after the first time I used them. That’s not a major issue. Since this came in a four pack, they were easy enough to slide together to form a longer left and right holder.

Don't get these unless you can position them across the grates. My grill they can only go with the grates and constantly fall over and drop the kabobs on the grill surface. Really they are more trouble than they are worth. If the base was wider they would be better but at around an inch, they are simply too narrow.
