Great Product
I have a spinal cord injury from a car accident and I am paralyzed from the chest down. Once I'm in bed it is difficult for me to reach my phone to answer or make a call if it is laying on top of the dresser or nightstand while charging. This holder is perfectly designed so that I am able to attach the mount on the side of my dresser, close to the bed, so that I can easily reach the phone when needed. The design also securely holds the charging cable when not in use so I don't have to worry about it falling on the ground which would be difficult to reach from my wheelchair. The mount is well designed, adaptable to any case that is on the phone, and very easy to mount. It is perfect!.

Overpriced, but works good. Will not work with multiple devices after installed unless the same size.
4 stars only because I think its overpriced for a couple pieces of plastic and looks cheap and the corners should be a little deeper, because if its not tight the phone will fall out the bottom, disappointed in quality and value as I bought 3. HOWEVER it does work pretty well in our RV. I like that the contact strips can be removed later if I need to move it. The instructions are worthless as I could not read even with a magnifying glass. FYI the way I would do it again is put the 3m contact strips on the back of the two sides. Push the pull tabs in the empty slots and fold it over when sticking, this was most confusing part to me. If you have a sloppy fit, there are. 3 sizes of rubbers spacers for how you want your cord to come in. I put all my rubbers on then put it around my phone and made sure was snug and squeezed fairly tight, then pulled the backing off of the strips and pressed against the wall. Be warned its very adhesive and get it right the first time .There are several parts to accommodate many different phones, but overall works well, If you need to move it you will probably need a straight pin or dental floss to work the 3m pull tabs out of the slots.

Outstanding product, one caution
Someone finally persuaded 3M to allow third-party marketing of their Command strips! One caveat: The technique to cosmetically hide the ends of the strips pretty much defeats their easy removal. You need to decide in advance whether appearance is that important. If you do want to remove them and can't get the removal tabs back out, cut through the strips lengthwise by sawing back and forth with dental floss. But then you have to clean up adhesive residue that was supposed to come off cleanly. The instructions go to great lengths to ensure that the mounting strips hold. Relax! That doesn't mean they're likely to fail, Dockem is just making darn sure they don't get blamed if they do.

Holds my iPod to the wall in my RV - works great!
I needed something to hold my iPod on the wall in my camper, and since the old style iPods have very wide connectors, I needed something that would accommodate keeping it plugged in. This works great for that because you set the spacing however you need it (there are two separate sides, and you just place them the distance apart that you need). The only down side is that if I want to use my phone instead, it won't fit, because the spacing is set for one device, and other devices will only fit if they are the same width as you set for the first device.

Added space savers a plus
Very easy to mount with the command strips. Including another set would have been nice though! The included space savers made a difference, as they added stability once my iPhone was docked.

Does what it advertises!
I did love this product because it was so simple and easy to use, but one thing I will say is that the bumpers it provides are of varying length and thickness. I accidentally coupled two of the same length that were of a different thickness and I had to yank the wrong one off. Just make sure you look at them closely before you apply them.

Needs better tape.
Used this in my car. Adhesive pads are rather wimpy. I believe that they are designed for a completely flat surface. I got some heavier, softer double sided tape and installed the magnet to the side of the center board, in my car. Still there after several weeks. The phone now mounts down by my leg and has a cable to an after market GPS/Controller that I installed. All voice activated with the phone out of site.

Love it.
Awesome. I have 3 of them, 1 in the bedroom, 1 in the living room, 1 in the office. Super sticky no chance of the device falling if all you use is the 3M sticky pads. It comes with screws and raw plugs if you want to screw it to something. A variety of rubber inserts to suite the thickness of the device, love it.
