how springy is the spring? Does the unit wobble when you hit a pad?

As the pads share one spring on the bracket, the three pads will wobble if you hit one. We will have a new model on which all the three pads will have separate springs.

can it be installed on drywall or studs?

It came with expandable anchor bolts which gave way first kick. So I attached 2x6's cross ways on 2x4 stud wall. Using regular bolts,waters,lock washers. That worked nicely. Been 2 weeks and no issues.

What is the dimension of the screws on the wall?

These are M8 expansion bolts with outer diameter of 12mm.
