Really good present for someone who spends a lot of their time drinking beer while watching TV
My father is a heavy drinker, and although getting him to stop was an impossibility, I decided "Screw it, let's just make it fun for him then." So I decided I'd gift him with a Viking mug for his birthday. When he unwrapped it, he immediately went to pour 2 cans of his favorite beer into the mug - the whole time his girlfriend and I were just smiling and laughing the whole time as he's also smiling and happily sipping. The sack that it came was a very nice touch that brought a authenticity feel to the gathering. In short, my father absolutely loves this thing. Best present he could've gotten from his kids.

The person that made this is very talented. We had to return it because it leaked. If it hadn’t, we definitely would have kept it.

The Gods wouldn’t put the good stuff in it.
Nice, but not durable got mine on August 27, 2025. It’s November 1, 2025 and used once. Now it leaks and what was a very small and insignificant crack now goes up half the cup. You’ll probably want dip the whole thing into food grade polyurethane. But for know it’s a shelving decoration.

Appearance Doesn't Match What You Order
Husband ordered the Urnes style beer mug as a gift for me and we kept receiving the Chainmail style. Obviously, the appearance doesn't match the pictures. Mug does have thickness so that's nice and didn't leak. Giftability is okay if you are choosing it for a white elephant and don't care about the style recieved. Overall, an item that wasn't worth the money since the item wasn't correct.
