They work ok

These worked very well to hold ribbon to wood, which is what I bought them to do. I found it fairly easy to hold them straight up and down though I have slender fingers. When I was keeping in mind to take it slow and keep them really straight-on they worked out very well. As soon as I got relaxed about it they didn't go in as straight, so then I just took it slower. Out of 18 I didn't bend any badly enough to be unusable.On the package which arrived it says not to wipe them with a damp cloth or with chemicals. Just something to have in mind.If I do a similar project again I'll likely measure out dots where I want the tacks to be. Lining them up with each other by eye didn't produce a perfect alignment for me but that does not reflect on the tacks, just a tip for any crafter reading this. ;-)

I had hoped to put the tacks in front of an armchair, but when I tried to nail them, they bent. I did not know that a metal strip was behind the leather on the chair. After trying to use them for 45 minutes and ruining the tacks, I gave up. Eventually, I’ll find a use for the remaining ones. The chair would have looked so much better with the tacks.

Nice and inexpensive product. All nails were uniform and very shiny! This was my first attempt at adding nail heads to furniture and I bent about every third one — glad I had extra! Having a rubber mallet was very handy. I had bought a spacer tool as well but these nails didn’t fit it. I marked even spaces on a piece of painters tape and then placed the tape on my furniture to guide me. Used a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the nail. Not perfect but very happy with results and can’t wait to decorate something else lol

It didn't work for my project. I was trying to decorate my headboard. They need to be longer, as they would pop right out 😔

I needed tacks for a project I’m working on. Looked at several stores but couldn’t find what I wanted. Saw these online and took a chance. Was very satisfied with my purchase. Size and color exactly what I wanted. I’ve purchased another container of them to ensure I have enough.
