Q: Does this need to be rinsed first as usual with Quinoa?

The directions don’t say to rinse first. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try it as the box was opened when delivered. I threw it away.

Q: why so pricey? Is only a couple of bucks in the store?

Hello, Box just says non-gmo, gluten free. Doesn't say organic or natural. Ingredients are black, red, white quinoa, nothing else listed. Company is based in Florida. Quinoa is packed in Texas. No info on origin of quinoa. Hope this helps. 1409clay
